PROS: Using Rock RMS for me is beneficial to the organization, and it is also cost-efficient. It’s known as open-source software, so you are required to update or upgrade it every few years. Also, it is compatible with almost all devices, not just laptops but also on mobile phones and tablets. I can update our member database or view prayer requests, even if I am not in the office. I can organize meetings or events with our other members easily. Rock RMS is easy to learn; that is why we prefer using this compared to other software brands.

CONS: We are having issues dealing with updates because our program setting was affected, and we started having challenges in navigating the system. The tech support team has provided me with more than enough knowledge to solve the same issues again in case the system updates in the future.

PROS: One of the primary purposes of why we got RMS is to promote and strengthen relationships within church members because it helps enhance communication. It’s easy to view records and trace family relationships essential on our end so we could quickly come up with programs that would benefit all members. I appreciate that Rock RMS offers a faster way to communicate with all our members, and I can also easily reach out to their support team whenever I need help with the application.

CONS: Improved customer service, probably they could extend their support after office hours. There were several instances wherein I encountered some issues with RMS Rock, and no one from their hotline was answering. The problem was pretty urgent because I have a deadline to meet, and the reports just got messed up. I had no choice but to wait until the morning to get things sorted out.

PROS: I love using RMS Rock because of its wonderful features. Since I take charge of handling tons of admin tasks and data organization Rock RMS makes my job easier. We use this app mainly for signing up new members, updating our listing, manage member records, monitor our contributions, and organizing small to large scale events. Before using RMS were having significant challenges with communication and coordination. Still, we were able to address these issues by subscribing to this application.

CONS: It would be best if you prepared yourself with various scenarios when using RMS. At first, I find this platform too complicated for my liking, and others think the same way. But I was told to extend my patience and take my time to learn more about the product. I’m glad that I did that because once I started to uncover its features, I realized that it does a lot of good things for the organization. A few training sessions would be very much appreciated, so all users can maximize Rock RMS would be great as well.

PROS: Rock allows you to customize your platform for your comfort and efficiency. This is not just a simple app that handles your organizations’ activities, but it also keeps members united. I like the way it helps me organize events and outreach programs and spreading awareness to all of our team members at the same time. I appreciate all the support that I’m getting from their customer relations team because I can no longer find someone who’s good or better than them.

CONS: We were a bit challenged with the platform when we first started using it. However, I did some training, and we hired a full-time developer who handled most of its technical and programming issues.

PROS: I have been part of our church for so many years. We have experienced a lot of wins and losses in terms of putting the entire organization together. We've been using different kinds of software to collect, manage, and maintain our current data. Still, so far, only one particular brand has impressed us, and that's Rock RMS. We were able to do membership sign-ups through this software, manage our member records, track church attendance, schedule masses, seminars, and even plan outreach programs. Rock RMS has taught us how to plan successfully and communicate effectively with our group members. Another thing that I appreciate about Rock is its support group. Whenever you need any help with the system, you can always reach out to a local community online group. You can get a lot of helpful answers without having to worry about additional costs because it's being provided for free. You can check out their group and various forums in SLACK and feel free to ask questions whenever you're having challenges with Rock RMS. It's not surprising that many religious groups are starting to shift to Rock RMS. This is due to its added features and trusted support group that you can always rely on.

CONS: We had issues changing from the old app to Rock RMS. They weren't able to automate the system yet, so we have no choice but to export our database manually, which took us almost a month to finish. The good thing is that the company was made aware of this issue. They took care of it so their clients won't have difficulty acquiring data or information from their previous software.
