The best aspect of Resource Guru is how easy it is to see where your resources are allocated at any time, and instantly see resource availability.
It would be beneficial to our use to have email notifications sent to resources for all actions, from when a job is booked, to any edits, to any deletion.
As our resources grew with the company expanding, we needed a tool for managing our resource capacity effectively. Resource Guru provided this. Guru allowed much clearer, and more efficient, control of our resources.
Intuitive and user friendly interface.
Schedules are always live and current.
If I have to say something, probably the Dashboard, as an administrator it doesn't serve much purpose, at least not for me.
Allows visibility across multiple business units of field resources' schedules.
The filters are very useful and well made.
The UX & UI is very good.
Great reminder of the things planned.
Daily updates are not necessary for me.
I check Resource Guru when needed.
When I don't remember who or what I have planned.
To find the people working on my project.
To check the time planned.
THe scheduling and the web interface is so good and helpful.
there is nothing disliking in resource guru. but one suggestion if it would be possible that there is a application based on android or ios so it would be motr helpful for all the users
we are getting day to day updated and it is quite helpful
It's easy to view yours and your colleagues schedules and plan project and meetings accordingly. I check it every morning to see who is in and what projects I am schedules on.
It would be good to have public holidays already included in the time off
It shows me who is off and who is in as well as what projects I am booked in on which allows me to allocate my time throughout the day/week accordingly.
Easy to enter projects, clients and resources. Great filter function to sort by team or project. The ability to Filter by multiple teams is great to balance out workload across the Country. Entering public holidays and team wide functions is easy as well.
What's the downside? Probably only getting the whole team to update the upcoming work.
Competing resource requirements and visibility of remote resources.
Dashboard end Schedule helps me every day.
Lack of automatic deduction of absences.
Ability to manage projects and staff
Simple to use, low learning curve and quick to get setup. Effortless to reschedule projects and see where project items are in your daily, weekly etc schedule. Projects often take longer or you need to break off onto something else, so the ability to split an existing schedule item so that you can move x hours to the next day or week is brilliant. Dashboard gives you a great overview of what's needed that day and coming up in the future. Managing your workload makes your day busy enough adding to this scheduling and project management can make this even more time-consuming, but Resource Guru makes time and project management simple and effortless.
It would be great to colour-code clients/projects by brand colour rather than the limited colour options currently available. To be able to mark items as done would be fantastic and have a visible list of items done/complete, you spend time adding all the actionalble projects but your then left a little lost as to what has actually been done. Yes you can move items forward to complete in the future but what about past items that you've done, when reporting to my manager I would like to be able to easily say x and x done from some kind of report in Resource Guru.
Just being able to manage time and workload, with managers being able to see what I'm working on at any given time.
Very intuitive UI: it took seconds to start using it.
Doesn't have a real iOS/Android app, but the UI works very well on smartphones and tablets too.
I'm part of a very large distributed team of freelance instructors that are booked by a software Vendor to deliver training courses to their customers world-wide.
Resource Guru enables me to manage side by side my own schedule and the bookings made directly by the Vendor's back office Team.

I like how simple it is to use.
Easy to navigate and would recommend to other people. This is one of the easiest Resourcing tools I have used.
If it had an undo button it would make things easier.
I often delete things by mistake and can't get it back
This is what the business use to track their time and I use to schedule everyones work in.
It is used widely across the firm
