It always gives warnings when there are problems in our code and offers quick fixes to solve them quickly. It ensures compliance and coding standards when using code formatting and cleanup to eliminate unused code.

Deployment speed is deficient compared to other platforms and needs improvement. It does not have fold and filtering features. The automated coding features need to be improved.

It offers multiple code editing helpers and instant code transformations. It provides open API support, code refactoring and generation, and cross-language functionality.

I love the code cleanup suggestions and standards of coding styles like variable names should be camel case.

It overrides the IDE's default settings. But overall it's fine and good to go if you have not problem with processing power of your machine.

I only use it for code refactoring and code cleaning purpose.

ReSharper allowed me to quickly identify many errors in my code I would not have caught otherwise. This product has made me a far more effective developer, in particular thanks to its code refactoring features.

As a personal preference, some of the syntax highlighting is hard to detect on the default settings. This can be changed in the settings, but the initial setup is not as easy on the eyes as it could be. Also, getting the software set up was more difficult on my work machine due to a non default install location.

ReSharper C++ is an extremely helpful add-in to my software development pipeline. I would recommend that new users of this product switch the default preferences to something easier on the eyes, such as a darker theme, or some other color for syntax highlighting. Overall, a C++ developer cannot go wrong using this product.

The main business problem I face is writing custom software solutions for local companies. This software allowed me to work quickly and productively to get solutions to clients in even shorter windows of time. Overall, the code refactoring and syntax highlighting has been such a nice change compared to what I previously used. Initially, I just used a terminal window (emacs) to write quick and dirty C++ programs to get the job done. However, switching to a full IDE with features that ReSharper C++ provides has resulted in a massively improved quality of life.

It really helps when it comes to refactoring, identifying issues. And it is faster than intellisense which is nice considering that a lot of VS extensions end up slowing things down.

Not really an issue ... some of the coding violations that it reports are useful, some less so.

Refactoring is a big benefit and worth it by itself.

ReSharper C++ makes Visual Studio a better IDE for C++ developers. It provides on-the-fly code analysis, quick-fixes, powerful search and navigation, smart code completion, a variety of code generation options and other features to help increase your productivity.

I really have not found much to complain about ReShaper C++. It contains all the features from previous and added multiple modules to better assist the developers.

Saves a lot of debugging time.

I use ReShaper C++ inside Visual Studio Editor. It keeps reanalyzing files when I edit them, detecting errors and possible problems before you even compile and thus saves a lot of time.

I've been using several jetbrains IDE's over the past years, never had a complaint. Easy to use & intuitive.

If you're a control freak, not knowing about all the options in the software might be a problem for you!

It helps with visual debugging, linting and provides a nice UI for those who aren't too terminal friendly!

Good unreachable code detection. code refactor suggestions are usually pretty good. refactoring code is a breeze with this extension.

The subscription is little on the expensive although you can use the license perpetually without updates.

We use C++ for web assembly development. It made our development much easier with better intellisense for visual studio and running our unit tests.

There are so many features that resharper adds to help programmers. One I like is running unit tests.

I haven't run into any issues using this software.

Nothing in particular. Haven;t faced serious problems with the tool to complaint about it.

Front desk trading applications which are used by a trader to make and book trades. Debugging is made very easy. Code analysis and awesomeness of Visual Studio is also great.
