What do you like best about ResDiary?
Since its inception ResDiary has been totally committed to maximising Restaurant's table yield. It has many many features to ensure you you maximise your guests and revenues. It is a flat fee not commission based. From a User and Guest perspective the UX is focused on speed and the least number of clicks. You own your database and are able to brand your emails and reservation widgets to your corporate identity. Designed by Restaurateurs for restaurants, so it works in exactly the same way as most restaurants.
What do you dislike about ResDiary?
Pretty hard to pick fault as ResDiary is always constantly developing and evolving.
Recommendations to others considering ResDiary?
What ever your current solution is, you need ResDiary.
What problems is ResDiary solving and how is that benefiting you?
No Shows reduced drastically. Able to promote special Dinners and other dining experiences clearly online. Guest receive immediate response to all reservations made. Able to maximise my busiest times with their yield management and boost quieter times with some added value promotions. ResDiary's channels are delivering strong additional bookings. Their new apps are very cool. List list is endless, to be honest.

Fantastic resource with excellent support
What do you like best about ResDiary?
The system is so easy to use, we allow our students to log on and accept bookings for Scholars the College restaurant. it is also simple to close out areas when we have areas privately booked, or during student holidays. The e mail marketing function is great for special events.The team in support are brilliant at fixing anything we have trouble with, no question is viewed as being stupid.
What do you dislike about ResDiary?
there is nothing that I dislike - all is fantastic

so easy to use, great support team, marketing database easy to use

marketing of special events is so easy, the data base created is incredible, it builds itself!

The best solution for restaurants who are busy and popular (or who aspire to be so)
What do you like best about ResDiary?

Resdiary focus fully on the needs of the restaurant, unlike many of their competitors who focus on booking commissions and their own self promotion.”

Recommendations to others considering ResDiary?
We have only twice ever had the ResDiary server crash for us, which meant we lost the reservation information for the night/service. This was, however, rectified very quickly. If ResDiary had an emergency line for this sort of thing that would be a fantastic improvement for us. Apart from that, there is honestly nothing me or my team dislike about ResDiary.

A great system made by hospitality experts
What do you like best about ResDiary?
Both the functionality of the software and the support is second to none. It is a company that knows its market inside out and provides a product that makes running a restaurant business MUCH easier!
What do you dislike about ResDiary?
I wouldn't say I dislike anything about the product. Previously the settings screens were a little bit basic but they have been replaced by a nice intuitive user-friendly page. So no grumbles
Recommendations to others considering ResDiary?
A small amount of technical ability is good to be able to configure the software to exactly how you want it in terms of promotions, deposits etc. Like any highly configurable software - you get out what you put in!
What problems is ResDiary solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a complete booking management solution - it takes our bookings, holds credit card details and enables us to maximise our covers

A fast acting reservation tool with in-depth CMS functionality and great customer UX
What do you like best about ResDiary?
I like using ResDiary because we have a large collection of restaurants and we are able to adapt the use of the booking widgets to fit the needs of each venue from a customer UX aspect as well as internal use.
What do you dislike about ResDiary?
It would be great to have a bit more freedom to customise the look and feel of the ResDiary booking widgets. It can tricky to fully match the brand of the venue we are using it for, using the current customisation tools.
What problems is ResDiary solving and how is that benefiting you?
We contacted ResDiary last year to review the use of our channels and promotion IDs. They were really helpful in explaining in simply terms the reason behind the challenges we were experiencing as well as supportive suggestions about how we could improve our use of the aforementioned to streamline our processes.
