PROS: I love the design of this program--very simple and does not leave much room for you to second guess your command buttons. Onboarding new members into our team have been much easier because of how easy this program is to use. Plus, the biggest bonus--their customer reps make you feel validated and supported
CONS: The only downside I have noticed about this program is the set-up. It’s quite difficult to launch, and it’s virtually impossible to install it by yourself and without the need to call in their support team. For some reason, it takes a while for it to settle into a new environment (e.g., a new computer or a tablet).
PROS: If you want a one-stop solution for your rental company’s needs, then this is the perfect tool for you. It doesn’t matter what your product is, as long as you are in the rental business, RentWorks has you covered--from tracking your products to creating invoices. This has completely overhauled our workflow for the better.
CONS: I’d like to have more freedom in the layout and the design of the dashboard. However, RentWorks does not give us such liberty. This is such a shame because other similar products offer customization.
PROS: I love how we can easily mirror the data sequence our rental agents ask for from our customers with the information cells on the screen. This way, we can quickly input the details without having to scramble to look for the cell that needs to be filled out. There are keyboard shortcuts that support this process further too. There’s a section of the form where we can just tick off boxes of add-ons that our customers have decided to purchase too. Overall, this has greatly contributed to how convenient and fast we’ve been able to check customers in and out. And it’s not just the software that deserves all the praises. I also think it’s worth mentioning just how brilliant the tech staff is. They’re professional and helpful--the best combination.
CONS: We had to manually update the restrictions for each of our staff members. It would be nice if the program came with a pre-set security settings that we can easily tweak as the need calls for it.
PROS: I love how prompt their support staff is in responding to any issue that I may bring up. It is this level of dedication to their users that I look for in every team.
CONS: Dissemination of information is something that can still be developed within the community. For example, we weren’t informed that a recent version had been rolled out.
PROS: RentWorks has allowed us to oversee our operations across different locations from one, central vantage point. Their support staff is also always a delight to work with.
CONS: I wish that they would add an accounting feature so I don’t have to tap into an external resource for this.

The layout of fields and screens in the rental and reservations areas matches the dialog agents have with renters so the information can be filled in quickly. The tab, fill-in, process is fast with little backtracking. We love the equipment list and equipment check out/in area for GPS, child seats, EZPass etc. Reports are accurate and easy to run. Add on modules like Claims Manager and ERez are easy to get up and running and very helpful. The folks in NJ are a joy to work with! The program is reliable and works. We love stability in our operations and Bluebird is one of our most stable components of our operations.
It's taken us awhile to tweak the security settings for each group of employees. It would be nice if the system was loaded with a generic security platform which you could change item by item as needed.
It's a wonderful program! We couldn't run our business without it. The YouTube tutorials are great for helping to train new employees. The online support is easy to use and they do a good job of keeping everyone in the loop with their BarsNet newsletter. They are very approachable via phone and email. Would highly recommend.
The software allows us to rent more cars quicker with less risk by providing the required fields needed to limit our liability .
If you are planning to have multiple locations and would like to optimize fleet utilization then Bluebird is the way to go. Excellent customer service. Talk to Angela to get the best deals.

PROS: I love how Bluebird’s RentWorks allows me to oversee practically all aspects of my company’s operations--from tracking my vehicles to checking my employees’ schedules. It’s reliable storage for all of my important files too.
CONS: I wish that the support staff would be more prompt in their response to issues that I escalate to them. I’ve noticed increasingly frequent system crashes and I do wish that they would address this soon. As a suggestion: please roll out a license scanning feature so that we don’t have to manually scan and input renter's license details.
