We've used Rapid7 for our Vulnerability Testing and Alert Messaging, Threat Intelligence, Risk Management, Endpoint Protection etc. They have proved to be invaluable in providing a complete and effective solution.

The user interface and the ease of access to all facets of the application is simple and intuitive. Information is easy to assimilate and collate and report writing is straightforward. There's lots of scope with bespoke options to suit any company's requirements.

Nothing, whatsoever. This, as aforementioned, is a complete solution that meets all our requirements.

We can accurately check. measure and take remedial action on vulnerabilities. We can all check Threats and Risks which are imminent and have less precedence. We've been able to take immediate and corrective action and have improved our overall reactive and proactive posture.

Rapid7 is linked to each of our workstations, and through easy to navigate dashboards, even non-expert IT people can keep track of risks/threats within our domain.

So far I couldn't think of anything that I dislike about this software. We've now been using it for about 4 months, and Rapid7 has already achieved far more than we did in the past few years.

Single platform for complete risk management, I appreciate the overall interface, and the support team is also very helpful with providing relevant information for the system.

Some of the remediation suggestions are not exactly application-oriented and they can defer depending on the application. The software can be a bit cheaper so that small companies can afford it better.

It is a really good service to manage vulnerabilities on your network. You can find all the tools that you need at your fingertips.

It provides a single platform for Vulnerability Scanning and Remediation techniques to easily manage the network. It can be integrated with the complete network.

The tools are well designed and easy to use.

Some of the support was slow to respond, tracking issues could be improved.

We used the Metasploit suite for our internal penetration testing using our own Red Team. This allowed us to grow the teams experience, identify our issues internally prior to engaging with any third-parties.

Their CRC Essentials license is absolutely value for money as it includes three of their products - InsightVM, InsightCloudSec and InsightConnect, giving us a nice package for all our needs including vulnerability management, cloud security and compliance and to some extent security orchestration and automation capabilities.

Whilst the package is great for a business like ours, considering we are a small security team, we got a wide variety of various services from Rapid7 in a single license, However, it has made our work significantly more which is pretty annoying. The InsightVM product is supposed to give us a nice coverage for vulnerability management but it seem to have missing coverage for some major softwares, including Visual Studio and NVidia which is a massive drawback especially for a games development company. It asks for a lot of administrative efforts to achieve a simple task. It lacks some no-brainer automation options for many stuff that we' currently have to do manually and there is limited options for integration to external tools/platforms which is also very disappointing. InsightCloudSec is a good platform in terms of identifying security misconfigurations and vulnerabilities but its a bit challenging to work with due to the lack of integration and automation options, leaving us to work more and more on excel sheets than Jira etc.

I've been using the platform for more than a year now and I think I raise more than 3 support tickets each month due to technical issues with the product and almost all the time I hear back 'we have never seen this behaviour with our tool before' from Rapid7 support which gets very frustrating as a customer.
