What I like best is being able to customize the experience for our attendee journey--through registration, content, meetings and exhibitor management. You can edit and refine things as needed and improve your event flow and data output YoY. It's not a one size fits all platform, but they now offer some templates and best practices as well as great solution consultants to help roll out a platform that works for you.
Some things need more attention (eg meetings and CPE reporting) but understand they are lower on the priority list. But do understand some updates are on the way.
A more updated user registration experience than our previous provider. Content and exhibitor catalogs are easy to navigate. Provides clear data and the ability to truly refine the experience to match our needs and goals.

It's streaming services lack in areas that competitors have been able to accomplish. They are already improving it drastically but more work is needed on the server side.

Like any tool, it's not perfect, but nothing that I dislike per se.
Sponsor management: Solving it by building out the additional tools needed to ensure comprehensive management of all the items a sponsor needs: contracts, exhibitor resources, speaker management, session management, registration, housing, sponsor communication.
RainFocus simplifies the management of the event lifecycle phases. Having a single platform maximizes sponsor experience. RainFocus has positioned themselves to support any type of events.
Customer support response could be improved.

The reports and the dashboard are my favorite. I am on the dashboard every single day, checking the progress of my event, revenue, stats, geo data. We can pull customized reports in a snap. I'm able to give my executives the information they want, easily.
Honestly, not much. Right now, with RainFocus, my attendees can't transfer tickets the way we need them to. We have a work-around, and it's still much easier than what we were doing with a previous reg software. However, RainFocus has been working with us to solve this problem, and on the next event we'll have it up and working. So, not a huge issue. I really appreciate working with their team on this solution.
With RainFocus, I solved the problem of registration servers crashing on opening day. So right there, huge advantage. But the other benefits we gained in addition have been hugely helpful. We have so much more information than ever before.

This frees us up to expand on our next technological implementations without delay.
Some nuanced asks are harder to implement head on. At times, we have to use workarounds for some basic specialty requests. There are also times where finding the best way to communicate escalations to the team isn't clear which leads to a delay in timely feedback.

Overall, the system has made it easier for us to become more robust in our execution on each front. We've also been able to implement a team of teams approach that allows other stakeholders access to managing their areas without affecting the reliability of the system.
