Qvidian is the major tool on which our RFP team relies on when answering to client questions. We use it as a knowledge databasis but also as a tool to create our RFP templete forms. It is easy to use, fast and it completely meets our expectations and needs.

It is just great, no negative comments, I can only recomment it.

Qvidian saves me a lot of time because with it I can prepare in a few minutes a brand new RFP template ready to use. In this way, I can concentrate on filling in the content with company and product specific information. Qvidian helps me improve my productivity and results.

The fact that it takes the hassle of uploading, updating content

I dislike how technical the process can be.

That I have the option to bulk upload QA for RFPs.

That the product keeps evolving and that you can use or not use functionality as it fits your needs.

Once in a while there is a Qvidian/MSFT issue that takes time to get sorted out.

It is easy to get RFP and proposals done quickly with Qvidian. It is also easy to maintain content on our end, which is integral to getting out things quickly. The software helps with both - easy to update and maintain content and easy to create proposals that don't need further formatting or attention with the Word add-in

Powerful custom meta data helps us manage and maintain our content.

Tracking changes in projects is lacking.

Highly searchable database of re-usable proposal responses helps us complete a first pass RFP response more efficiently.

The tool is highly configurable and can adapt to meet my needs for the production of just about any kind of document.

Actualized self-service capabilities are broad.

It's web-based means that if the Internet goes down I'm not able to work with it.

Qvidian has a robust set of features to help with most parts of the proposal/RFP/content management workflows.

It can be less intuitive for new users than desired.

They have been steadily working to improve the user interface for the different functions, which is helping make it more intuitive gradually.

I have been a profesional working with proposal database tools for 25 years and have used several database products in this time. Once you've been forced to work with a system that isn't Qvidian, you understand that it's really the only option for proposal professionals. When I was unfortunate enough to work in an organization that didn't use Qvidian, I was quick to advise them that there isn't another tool geared to proposal professionals that comes close to the features and capabilities that Qvidian offers.

It's clear that people who understand proposal and RFP needs are behind this system. The search features are fantastic, but the administrator features are even better ensuring database content maintenance is as simple as possible for all involved. The ability to customize views allows a very personalized experience.

There are a wealth of features and you can use all of them or just those that work for you. This makes it easy to baby-step into the system, slowly adding features as you need them.

My team implemented the Qvidian RFP database and then moved added proposal automation as a phase two implementation. This allowed us to become more familiar with the system and better users before expanding its capabilities.

Qvidian is the first tool I open every day as it's integral to everything I do throughout the day. I have lived in a world without Qvidian, and I can attest, that it isn't a world you want to live in.

It can seem overwhelming at times because Qvidian has so many features. Qvidian will often offer three ways to do the same thing, allowing you to customize your practices. With proposal automation we have been able to implement a solution to the challenge in developing proposals for different product mixes, different market segments, etc. We're able to pick and choose products, market size, and even propsal cover photo to meet the proposal need of each opportunity.

The library! Our team no longer has to go searching for answers in different folders as it's all in one central place. Also love that we can enter comments into specific records that can point out details regarding the answer or product.

Not able to set notifications on an expired record or category.

We are able to connect with Subject Matter Experts within the organization. They're able to review our library and see if it's up to date with their policy. This helps our team have accurat and current data.

The feature I like most about Qvidian is their customer support and ease of use and implementation. The ability to integrate to Microsoft Word is especially a draw with writing teams.

I look forward to Qvidian offering AI features.
