Qase is generally praised for its user-friendly interface, making it a suitable choice for both seasoned testers and beginners. Users value its straightforward test case management, execution capabilities, and collaborative features. The free plan is a significant advantage for smaller teams, but some users mention a need for more robust reporting and filtering options. While the platform is lauded for its intuitive design and integration with popular tools like Jira, users point to ongoing development needed in areas such as automated test integration, user management, and responsiveness of certain functions.

Fantastic use simplicity and working with API integration. I was able to merge tickets to and from Jira with the add ons provided even with a free subscription. Functionality of the software is not held back due to subscription everything is basically usable where increase of subscription allows for an increase and growth of the department.
It being a web based service not dealing with IT having to screen everything uploaded or downloaded also makes the use very streamlined.
No real issues seen thus far I will continue to use this program for EVT testing because I manage all testing in my Dev team.
Complete tranperancy of work being done. With testing it is sometimes hard to prove work done when only using Excel sheets. This has given me the ability to test as well as show work in testing being done. It also has helped expend testing cases and other aspects of out testing culture due to working with the developers and managing testing.
I must say that they managed to resolve the incident quite quickly and were very friendly. In general, the use of the tool is excellent and allows the job to be done more easily. I recommend it
I don't think there's anything I dislike
It is very simple and intuitive to create test cases and maintain them in the suites. Running executions make testing easier
The user experience is really good. I like that you don't need to search for long if you are looking for a specific function.
My biggest problem with qase is, that there're no branching (or I don't know of). I would make an option for the test cases or the test steps to be able to add different branches. So if someone would start a test run on iOS and a test run on android , then it would give different test paramters or step instruction. The other thing is that I find that the easiest way to make test cases with shared steps is that you open the shared steps in another window so you can search for the similar or already existing steps. My problem is, that the site where your test case is open in editing, the newly generated shared steps doesn't come up in the list. After you refresh your editing window twice it comes up, but it's a bit impractical.
The shared steps solves the repeating steps problem in regression test cases. I don't waste a lot of time that way :)
I like that you can choose how many seats a person needs, so you only have to pay for what you use. Excellent software that can track regression, generate reports, and monitor progress. Everything is so far great; it's simple to use and the customer support team is really friendly.
nothing at all, everything works well so far
Stable place to find up to date test cases for release testing
One of my favorite features is the "clone" feature. You can clone test cases and test suites and transfer them to any project. This makes writing and organizing test cases so much faster, espically when building QA practices from the ground up.
The feature I'm waiting for is that when a test case is automated and runs in CI, the status will automatically changed to "automated" in Qase. Right now, that has to be tracked manually.
Qase solves several problems within our organization.
The first is documenting functionality. Being able to write test cases regarding functionality quickly is a major time saver for our time. This also keeps us out of spreadsheets and in a system that is flexible enough so that we can apply changes when we need to.
Second is the ability to track the status of test cases. Knowing how many we have, how many we've automated, and what remains is super helpful for reports and transparency when sharing those reports.
Third is using the Test Runs to track how functionality is doing. We keep notes on what was working when so that between test runs, we know what to expect and where the application is at any point in time.
It can be easily integrated with JIRA and other work management tools. Tickets can be created directly, by running the test cases that are documented in Qase. The User Interface and User Experience of test cases, especially the Mind Map tree diagrams are very user friendly and easy to understand for even a new user.
The limit on number of free users. Only small teams can use it for free.
Test Case documentation and software testing. Easy to use and report bugs in different work management platforms like JIRA.
Writing, managing and running the test cases are best for me. It has also AI which will help new QA to automate the test cases for approx all the tools and language.
Currently I did not have point to dislike, if I come across in future will definetly write the feedback which will make stable and enhance this product with fruitfull grouth.
It is helping me to manage all the test cases and deliverables by creting test plan and running it.
Ideal solution for a small team of 1-3 QA.
Requiring no financial costs at all.
A huge number of built-in integrations. Which can be configured in a couple of clicks.
The ability to quickly and painlessly transfer test documentation from almost any TMS.
Convenient, intuitive interface that is really pleasant to use.
I am only familiar with the free version of the application, but the functionality provided there is more than enough to solve the problems of QA.
I am sure that in the paid versions of the application all additional functionality is done just as carefully and conveniently. For example, the review process that I saw on the demo is simply amazing.
I would especially like to praise the technical support, which is always ready to help and resolve any issues that arise.
It seemed inconvenient that there was no possibility to move several test cases to another suite.
Drag and drop is only available for one case.
Only cloning test case.
There are also questions about cloning; it does not preserve the order of test cases.
Allows you to conveniently maintain test documentation.
Documentation can be quickly created and easily maintained.
Transparently showing the testing process at any stage.
The progress of the test plan is visible to the team at any time.
The time it takes to complete a test case is automatically taken into account, this allows you to predict regression costs
What I like best about Qase is its AI-powered script generation, which streamlines the process of developing automated tests. The AI script generation feature significantly simplifies the work of testers, enabling them to create automated test scripts more quickly and accurately. This not only saves time but also helps reduce human errors, thereby enhancing the quality of testing. It's a remarkable feature that sets Qase apart as an innovative and valuable software testing management tool.
While we have found several positive aspects in Qase, we would like to highlight an area where we encountered some challenges. Our main concern pertains to the integration of Qase with Cypress
Qase provides reporting and analytics tools that offer insights into test progress and software quality, enabling more effective decision-making and assisting teams in meeting project deadlines. Moreover, it brings a sense of seriousness to test documentation.
