I really like the Provar UI for developing the scripts, test builder, and Metadata concept to interact with UI elements

It would be great if we can extend this non-salesforce applications and other web applications

Slow-ish due to undelying Eclipse platform - worth considering using IntelliJ like faster platform?

Selenium execution is slower

Can't easily figure out system.out.println logs to debug custom functions

Can't detect sorting (ascending or descending) in Salesforce List UI

Test builder uses Chrome only which is often blocked or restricted in many organisations due to security policies - should include Edge browser too

Often we have to write own xpaths using external XPath assisting chrome extensions e.g. selectorshub which are way different than ProvarX plugin

End to end Regression testing of business workflows

I had the great fortune to be trained at the Brentwood, TN HQ. Clint Daniels and team whizzed their way all the features and how to utilize them. Very impressive Tool. The Developers were also great to be working with.

Looking forward to more Software Develpment Teams utilzing it, so I can work with it more in the future.

I am automating the Customer Service part. Where any customer had any issue related to the website, they fill the form through the contact form. When any agent login to salesforce, he will see the case has been created.

It is most stable and robust test automation tool for Salesforce application which saves lott of designing and execution of automation test scripts. Would also call a huge shoutout to support team to look into matters in a very timely manner. Implementation becomes quite easy and its easy to maintain. With provar we are able to deliver our tested code to production quite frequently . It is also quite easy to integrate with jenkins and bring a stable pipeline.

Not able to do shift left testing. need to wait for elements to be available in sandbox

No need to worry about maintaining scripts after sandbox refresh and salesforce releases.

The usability of the interface makes it very easy to streamline the testing process for our Salesforce Solution

Provar seems to hit a memory limit and crashes when there are an abundant amount of object components defined within the Object Page.

Fix the memory load issue. If there are more than 10 Assertions within the Test Scripts the application crashes when attempting to open the Assertions.

User interface testing is a big part of our Saleforce Solution so it's allow us to caught issues/enhancements that need to be made before we push out our product.

Anybody without coding knowledge can use this tool very well.

Market time is high as this help enables progressive automation or Automation first approach

Parallel execution depends on the number of procured licenses and the number of nodes tied to the licenses.

Execution speed is not great as every time the entire org level metadata has to be loaded, which is time-consuming.

SFDC Testing automation, regression, parallel testing, progressive automation.

Its more like a codeless platform, which is easy to wor upon & helps us to do things more faster.

Its so much complicated. Things needs to simple.

It doesn't supports fluently for customized objects.

We dont have to code much, it is just needed sometimes.

Simplicity of use and simplicity of building xpath

The way xpath gets changed after every deployment

Provar is helping us in automating the UI test cases and building regression test suites

As we can create tests by simple drag and Drop action, and there are more types of locators we can use in Page objects.

As there are multiple sections in Provar Desktop, shortcut keys should be available to minimize quickly, close, or open these sections, saving time and effort.
