The overall ease of use and the integration with the Canvas LMS are fantastic. The translation feature is also especially valuable at an institution like El Camino which is an HSI with many students for whom English is a second language. My faculty who love Pronto don't know what they would do without it. From my perspective, having a platform that provides for social and peer-to-peer learning online hasn't just been essential for navigating COVID, but is a core aspect of providing a modern technology facilitated learning experience.
Not all faculty are ready for social learning to support their classes. Since the integration is campus-wide, that can definitely be a challenge. However, it's a worthwhile trade-off, and this is fundamentally true for any new technology that you bring into an organization like a community college where not all users are tech savvy.
