ProdPad is a popular product management tool that helps teams gather customer feedback, prioritize features, and create visual roadmaps. Users praise its intuitive interface, ease of use, and integration with Jira for seamless workflow. However, some users find the feedback management features could be enhanced with more automation and wish for greater flexibility in customizing the roadmap view. Overall, ProdPad is a valuable tool for product teams, especially those looking to improve communication and alignment around product strategy.

The easy changes that can be made when ambiguity strikes and you have to shift is amazing.
Nothing yet (but would love to be able to show product roadmap as a spreadsheet for my CTO)!
Visualization of the roadmap
Having to create documentation in one spot , and the best part is the AI integrated into it. The AI has been helpful creating stories and ideas that didn’t first jump to mind.
I cannot easily track an idea update through notifications. When i see a notification, i should be able to click and go straight to the modifications rather than having to read through that tiny update to find it
We began with Product discovery and ideation storage. Now we plan to include user feedback collection with the hopes of integrating all our files and work tools into one
Prodpad makes it really easy to organise ourselves as a team. You can link customer feedback to ideas, and add notes and user stories, set up a workflow, push ideas straight through to Jira for the dev team to pick up and link your ideas to your roadmap. There is an area for objectoves which makes it easy to show which areas of your roadmap link to which objectives. Its really handy.
The only thing I don't like is that sometimes it is tricky to move user stories around if you want them in a diiferent order. The ability to do it is there its just not so easy. I move a story and it will be in.a different place to where I want it.
It would also be great if Prodpad could offer user anyalitics too to make it easy to attach data to ideas.
It helps us stay organised which is really needed!
It supports the whole product process, from the collection of ideas to the prioritisation of features to the development of the product strategy to the roadmap done right! Brilliant
Honestly, nothing - it's opinionated about how you should work which might not suit everyone, but it works for me!
It supports a robust way of working based on a well thought out workflow and process, which cuts through the noise and helps you make better decisions based on evidence collected. And it supports export to tools that developers use
Using Prodpad since few months, quite satsified so far.
- This is my go to place when I as a PM need to think about "what next" and I do not need to check ten different places, boards and notes and channels where all the scattered customer feedback use to be stored.
- I like I can link the feedbacks to so called "ideas" which could be thought of as features and I can quickly get a feeling for how "hot" the idea is by seing number of related feedbacks that are entering the feedback pipeline.
- Great that there are various channels how feedback can be submitted - even a picky user will likely find a method that will fit his/her needs.
- Very helpful and quick customer support.
- There could definitely be some usability improvements, they aren't that critical though
- There are couple minor bugs here and there
- Submitting via Slack does not allow for selection of already existing contacts from the list, and submission by manual contact addition creates duplicates
- Salesforce integration is available but not easy and straightforward - however it was either in Beta or just out of Beta and the customer support was very helpful with it as well.
All in all there are improvements that can be done, but the value we are getting from Prodpad is more significant than the above mentioned drawbacks.
Centralised collection of all the customer feedback, identification of important subjects that supports with prioritisation and setting the discovery direction.
Prodpad gives me overview and control of feedback and ideas. I can easily see what are hot topics and who cares most about what. Also, the workflow view is great!
I wish there was a little more help in structuring todos on the different ideas we prioritise. This is likely a bigger problem in a small team like ours where everyone does everything.
Helps me visualise to the entire organisasion what the product team is working on now, and what we intend to do next. Also it helps me gather customer feedback in one place - and link it up to all the ideas we have. It's a great support for all discussions we have in the leadership team as well.
It is intuitive and therefore maks it easy for everyone to add ideas and feedback regardless of their department.
None that I can think of, it is a really good platform.
Idea and feedback sourcing, storage and analysis. It makes all of these easy and keeps it separate from our Jira backlog making the flows clearer for all.
Is very easy to use. You can easy track your ideas, prioritize and collaborate to make them more value in a single place. You can integrate prodpad with multiple sources easily.
Is not easy to make reports. Is not imposible, but you need to struggle a lot.. the integration with azure DevOps changed and now is very difficult to connect with projects
Convert customer feedback into developments to add value to our customers while we analyze easily the expected effort vs the impact that each development will give us
It's easy to add feedback and link it to new or existing customers. I can also direct my team to add their own ideas and feedback, too, without a middle man.
The prompts are a little repetitive. Sometimes I find it difficult to break out the problem I'm solving vs. what value it would provide.
It's solving the need to organize customer ideas, feedback, and feature requests. It also allows us to sort and prioritize ideas and feedback so we know which features/changes should be our focus.

It is simple, straightforward, and doesn't distract/dizzify you with tons of options and configuration that allows something to do millions of things, but none well. It does the structuring and clarifying of the work of Discovery REALLY well.
Prodpad puts into an app/workflow a simple, effective method.
Starting to use Prodpad is also very easy. In one day you can get started and be extracting value already.
On the flip side, if you have a well organized product team that follows a pattern that doesn't closely align to Prodpad's method, it may be hard to converge the two.
We are trying to find new ways to deliver value with advertising data which is very expensive to maintain, but it's been very difficult to find a clear path. Prodpad helps align ideas and feedback to help find the right bets to make.
