PrivX is easy to use and easy to integrate. It does not require any extra software to be installed on the client's computer. It just works via a web browser. Implementation with the vendor's help is smooth, and it can be implemented either in a hyperscaler environment or on-premises.

Vendor (SSH) has a nice customer support, and working with them has been smooth sailing. They are flexible and easy to work with. They also listen to their customers and are willing to develop their product to meet the demands of their customers. This has become our go-to tool when it comes to privileged access, and we use it daily.

Ephemeral certificates help companies set a new level of security for the highly privileged user accounts. Setup of the product was fluent. Our end users (i.e. administrators) have been very happy about the user experience. PrivX support is very fast in responding to our questions. E.g. we have been able to get a call with the product development architect within two business days to elaborate on the use cases of a new feature.

It's still evolving and it may not be as feature rich as the PAM market leaders. On the other hand PrivX has valuable features which its competitors do not have. Some high availability setup issues which we are ironing out.

How do I like SSH Privx, how does the problem of controlling SSH keys get rid of. Instead of permanent keys stored everywhere (which can be a security risk), it gives you a temporary access on request. It looks safer and cleaner.

It works very well for modern, fast growing devps and blaming. You can easily automate who, what and how long access - is superwork when working on many cloud platforms or servers.

What I like most about SSH PrivX is how easy it makes secure access without needing to install agents everywhere. The just-in-time access and clear role-based controls give us both flexibility and peace of mind. It also integrates well with our existing identity systems, and the interface is clean and straightforward to use.

One thing I’d say could be improved with SSH PrivX is the setup process. It can feel a bit complicated, especially when dealing with multiple systems and users. Some of the features aren’t as intuitive at first, so it took me a little time to get the hang of it. Also, while it integrates well with major identity providers, I think more pre-built connectors for different systems would be helpful. Customer support is generally good, but it can take a little back-and-forth to get to the solution sometimes. Once it’s all set up, though, it’s pretty easy to use day-to-day.

SSH PrivX really helps by taking away the headache of managing and securing privileged access. It eliminates the need for installing agents everywhere, and the just-in-time access feature means we don’t have to worry about long-term credentials getting exposed. It also simplifies compliance with its detailed audit trails and role-based access controls. For me, it’s made everything feel more secure and easier to manage without all the complexity we had before.

Support and product itself. GUI is very easy and straight forward to use.
