Flexible, Scalable, and Easy to Use
Set it and forget it. Once set up it pretty much runs itself. Easy to manage devices. Easy to push updates with Intune.
There were a couple of features that turned out not to work in our environment so, ensure you research the feasibility of all features. Specifically, in our case, Printix Go does not work on Canon printers (at least not yet) and Mobile Printing from IOS devices does not work unless they are on the production network due to Apple security protocols. With BYOD and MAM we only allow mobile devices to connect to guest wifi so that does not work.
We were able to decommission a print server.
Easy to configure and manage. Transparent to the user, great support
Stronger account reporting features would make it perfect
We needed to find a way of printing from AAD-joined devices to on-prem print servers that are managed with Papercut. Printix provides the link from desktop to server via the cloud. This has meant that we don't need to pay for Universal Print, saving us money and making the print environment much more stable.
What I like the most is the easy way to configure, add printers, create print queues and deploy them to users, groups, whether local or remote offices.
That it does not have a free version with limited user or equipment, this would help when the test time expires to be able to continue exploring.
Time savings in configuration of users in remote locations who require elevated administration access.
With Printix we do not rely on any on-premise infrastructure database or print servers. Being cloud managed, wherever our users are located they automatically get access to the printers, drivers and configuration needed. With SSO to Azure AD, no added management software and easy for users. It works..
We did have card authentication, which Printix says is coming soon. Interesting that our users are getting used to releasing securely their confidential print jobs using either IOS or Android phone..
On first look all the features are not obvious so give it a test drive but contact Printix as well as they are very helpful.
We remove infrastructure and servers saving much more than just paper, which we save also. We remove IT administration when a user needs to print or moved to a new location. We have enable cloud printing option so remote users can access in office printers. Its a low cost SaaS, so great value.
I like the ability to print from several devices. We also like the print later function to increase confidentiality on certain documents.
I haven't found any dislikes. One source of discussion is an analysis of costs and at what point it pays for itself.
It is a great
Product with excellent support. You can monitor printing and reduce cost.
Server tickets that where in house can be put on printix.
Less useless printing. Resource utilization review
Printix allowed me to print and review my work before hand. Gave me quality versus quality. It showed me that my work could get done fast.
It took a while to update and the app version is different from the online version.
No problems, but they did help when I was on the move and needed something to be print.
An amazing app that is both innovational and time saving. This helped me so much in scanning and printing on my phone. It is up to date and is much easier to use after setting it up then any other printing app out there.
A little hard to set up but other then that nothing.
An amazing app that everyone should have.
•Faster scan time
•Clearer details
•Deletes unwanted documents
•Can print from anywhere
Together with Printix, we don't rely upon print servers or any infrastructure. Becoming cloud-managed, our customers can be found, they get access to the printers and setup required. With SSO into Azure AD, no simple for users and other management applications. It works.
I dislike that we receive our staff members, and this was somewhat confusing to set up. As this type of application was unnecessary, some folks felt.
If you're experiencing any problems with connectivity, printers, and newspaper waste inside your business, I'd consider this. It may help save cash.
We eliminate servers and infrastructure, saving a whole lot more than just newspapers, which we gather. The IT management is removed by us when an individual transferred to some other site or should publish. We've enabled cloud printing choices so users can access printers. It is a SaaS, price that is so excellent.
Makes it easier to manage and maintain lots of printers, print queues, and printer resources in a single pane of glass.
As a managed IT consultant, while I see the benefit of this, it can be a hard sell to the end-user or end-customer. It also doesn't work nearly as well on M1/2 based mac computers.
As a managed IT consultant, Printers can be very difficult to manage and maintain. Wint printix, it reduces my on-site print service hardware, and makes it easy to make sure the right users have access to the right printers.

We are now able to spin up a new office or job site location in minutes. No messing with drivers, VPNs or servers.
I find the driver configuration process to be a bit confusing. We struggle to deploy specific configurations. Defaults work great, though.
We are a cloud first environment and printing was the last piece of infrastructure getting in our way. Printix completely solved that for us with only about an hour of setup. I could not believe it was that easy?
