Front end display. and user-friendly search and checkout process. Admin section product management is also very easy and user-friendly. The nontechnical person easily handle it.

The overall entire system is easy but if you want any custom changes then it will give problems. also a little bit speed issue.

You can easily create and set up your own online shop. The payment system setup is very good

Es un CMS sencillo de usar y puedes encontrar muchas plantillas un poco más profesionales, las hay gratuitas y de pago, pero muy poco puedes tener un tienda con un diseño profesional.

Lo menos util pueden ser los modulos que algunos suelen ser un poco caros y para configurar algo un poco más avanzado no existe modulos gratuitos la mayoria son de pago.

El tener una tienda Prestashop me ayuda a que sin saber programacion puedes tener una tienda online en muy poco tiempo y con un diseño profesional. Lo basico para tener una tienda lista para funcionar que es el transporte y tema de pago es fácil de configurar.

I love prestashop for the creation of ecommerce. I have developed modules, themes and I find development very easy. Basically, it already offers all the useful features to create a professional e-commerce. But thanks to its marketplace for addons and ease of programming, it allows you to create advanced ecommerce

PrestaShop is a good solution if you are at the beginning of your eCommerce experience because it is very easy in use.

Besides being Free, it has an amazing range of modules to enhance your eCommerce storefront. The support that's given by private developers is very quick and helpful. Compared to most alternatives on the market, Prestashop is by far the best option out there, however it does depend in your business or website needs. For pure ecommerce and if you are looking for full features of a standard ecommerce site, Prestashop is your best bet.

Community support from forums is pretty decent however a lot of issues you have won't be easily fixed. You have to have some experience in programming or know someone that can help you there. Since its a free platform to run, you won't get high level of support to fix issues unless you are willing to pay for a developer support package.

Wordpress was a great solution until Prestashop started to gain a lot more modules in their marketplace. It has all the necessary eCommerce functionality built-in compared to WordPress. This was the biggest problem WordPress has, it is not a pure eCommerce platform and has a lot of issues with this, Prestashop fixed this for me. It is also relatively very cheap to run and operate even with buying modules compared to the other alternative, Magento.

For me Prestashop shop solves my issues:

1) Cheaper alternative as a pure eCommerce platform to run, and buy modules

2) Has a full set of eCommerce functionality out of the box with no module purchases

3) Easier to setup and install

Very feature rich and highly customizable.

Upgrade process is more difficult than I would like.

The Facebook integration is problematic. The upgrade process requires much more work than other products.
