Since we are using Precisely, we can handle more contracts faster, which is vital for our scaling business. By automating the contract drafting process, we created a safe environment for drafting agreements for the contract originators and significantly reduced the time the legal team spent reviewing agreements. And it's such a comforting feeling to know that we can avoid any manual calculation mistakes due to the advanced formulas available in the tool. The approvals settings and sophisticated user roles allow the various departments of our company to be active users in Precisely - from sales, account management, and marketing to business development and human resources. This brought the collaboration and synergy between different teams to another level. One of the most vital features is the metadata you can collect for the contracts created - this helps with our reporting a lot. And to save the best for the end - the Precisely team is fantastic! Whenever we suggest an improvement, they listen to us and take our comments with them, which then often leads to new features being rolled out, and this kind of relationship is essential to us. Also, their support team is always available and ready to help with any questions we send their way - it's a pleasure to work with them.

Nothing really. If you are new to the platform, you may need some time in the beginning to get familiar with all the features available, but after spending a few hours in the tool, you will become an expert very fast.

By automating contract-related processes, the Legal team can focus on actually giving legal advice, and we do not lose time working on the repetitive task.

When looking for a contracting tool, I was initially looking for a contract repository only. I soon found out that a tool like Precisely offers even more useful aspects as a contract drafting and signature process. Compared to its competitors Precisely stood out as all these functions were well-rounded and one function did not outshine the others. It is a great overall tool.

This is not a strong dislike, Precisely is still fairly young and flexible and not all minor functions or hacks are already available. Since I joined however many new functions have been added or about to be added.

- Getting our contracts in order and making them visible to stakeholders outside the legal department in an orderly manner

- getting a standardized signature process

- Self-service contracts and therefore reduction of workload for legal

The support and reaction time that Precisely delivers when you submit questions or proposals. Obviously the product, and how easy it is to take "word template contracts" and turn them into automated dynamic and flexible contracts. On some contracts, we have gone from 20 hours in preparation to less than one while satisfying all governance and stakeholders in the process.

The maturity of the product, we have met several limitations, but most of these limitations have been mitigated by improving the product and are no longer limitations.

Speed and governance on signing business opportunities and archiving and retrieving contracts, overview of agreements that are due for renewal. Legal review can focus on specific areas where changes are requested or totally skipped and a template is 100% within the built-in flexibility that has already been approved by legal.

About the platform: great features, intuitive user experience, we gain a lot of time and avoid errors at the sales proposals generation stage, smooth internal collaboration between our three users

About the customer service: a dedicated person in our native language that is very competent and extremely responsive, consistently exceeding our expectations

The platform is continuously improving and there is a good communication about the changes

Negotiation stage :

- Attachment file: most of the time, our customers do not find our T&Cs file that is attached as a pdf (so that it is not modifiable) to our services agreement. We have to explain to them how to find the file or send it by email. What would be amazingly great: make it more visible.

- Redlines: most customers are reluctant to use the redlines/comments features inside Precisely. They download the file in Word format and we have to do it the old way (OK this is our fault we can technically prevent them from doing so if I am correct). When we do it inside the tool, it is less smooth than in Word (the tool creates a bubble for each single change which is messy, and the customer cannot see what we have rejected).

Signature stage :

- We do not like Hellosign (now Dropbox sign) for 3 reasons : 1) we cannot insert signatures blocks (there is only a page summarizing the signatures at the end of the doc), 2) when we use the delegation feature it is messy, 3) the customers are reluctant to use it because they cannot download the file to check it before signing. That is the reason why we are moving to Adobe Sign (in course of integration by the Precisely team)

Automation of the sales proposal generation.

Before Precisely, only our Managing Director was drafting the proposals, and the templates to use for this were not really defined. This was time consuming, prone to errors and non-collaborative.

With Precisely: a team member can now also draft sales proposals with a smooth collaboration/review process with our Managing Director, errors are avoided and time is saved.

Good API integration posibillities, a useful and good looking Web App as well as very fast and personal support

im very happy with precisely, only thing is the sign process on mobile devices: on some step the "Next" button is out of sight and needs to be scrolled down to see it. But i will send this request on another way as well

Collect Signatures from our Employees and Customers and archive our documents.

We dont use the templating feature because we are generating our docs from Latex code.

But it looks very helpful as well.

I like how Precisely collects meta data from documets which help generates reports. Also, the option to send out contracts for review beforehand is great! Also, I have been able to time manage more with Precisely.

The downside is that it may take some time getting used to the platform especially if you are not familiar with meta data and creating templates through that, but it's not hard to learn!

Managing case load and Precisely does all my admin work which can be time consuming especially when we recieve so many contracts a day. Therefore, I am able to take on more work!

Precisely is a great tool to track and control the entire contract lifecycle using the Workflow Automation. It helps us on tracking deadlines, balancing client expectations, requesting payments and more.

I highly recommend for any organization!

There are No cons I can think of so far !

We needed a solution like Precisely to help us with reminders and meeting deadlines, also a place where we can add all contracts for better management. It saves times, keep us on track, and helps the team keep eye on all contracts easily.

Precisely is a great tool that allows us to have consistent template contracts and amendments while giving independence to team members and ensuring approvals are logged by management.

Occasional design flaws can make it difficult to know where to click, proceed or search but this doesn't detract too heavily from the overall experience.

Reducing errors and reducing the time involved for our Sales, Account Management and Legal teams.

It is easy to structure the documents in the archive. The template function is also excellent and makes it easy to create new agreements.

If I have to find something, it could be that you have to manually fill in the metadata on uploaded agreements, which probably would be a tricky feature to add.

Having a different platform where the agreements are safely stored and structured. We save time and money by having an "all-in-one" solution for archiving, creating and signing contracts.

The software is customer friendly and user interface is understandable so that many of our departments can fully use the software to design appropriate contracts. The dashboard helps significantly with timeline, milestones, and key date achievements. The feature that alerts to contract renewal dates and process is a great benefit to our team.

If you need more templates then the professional version is a requirement. Within the templates, the headers and footers are not able to be customized - so it's hoped that this is an option for the future.

Our legal department is particularly pleased with creating customized contracts in a short time period, and then all other collaborating teams can easily manage the contract to its completion.
