The sales and onboarding process was seamless! What we were sold was reality when getting into the platform. The implementation team worked hard to get us up and running much faster than their original timeline quoted.
We are a small business - Pramata seems to be geared towards larger companies, so we had to reiterate a few times that we don't need to follow their traditional implementation experience. We did not need as much hand-holding as they are used to so they seemed a little thrown off by this.

Pramata is solving our ability to quickly query unique terms across all of our contracts without relying on opening PDF documents and manually completing this task. They are building parent/child relationships (Contracts/amendments) to understand the contract journey. They are building unique techniques to support our unconventional contracts (value-based agreements). Pramata is also aiding in our ability to report and query specific terms and offerings within our contracts.
Pramata creates an easy-to-use repository to store, find, and analyze contracts in one place. It also allows for storing template agreements in one place. The automatic digitization of agreements and tagging key terms saves countless hours manually searching contracts.
So far the system has been great. The only downside I have noticed so far are some limitations in creating custom reports, but I have not had any difficulty finding what I need.

I really like (and rely) on the email reminders – it’s nice to have them pop-up in my email rather than having to go to the Pramata platform to access them.
While I appreciate that the customer success team has monthly meetings with me, it’s just overkill. They can just send me the PDF and meet as needed.

I like the family tree view of contracts and the organization of the key terms into categories so it’s easier to make sense of what’s in a contract and skip to the relevant terms I am looking for.
The good news is that Pramata has a very systematic approach to intake and normalize data from our contracts. I like this because we can count on and trust the process. The downside is that for reporting, the information captured is at the document level. I would like to see reporting at an account level. Pramata is great for reporting down to a granular document level, but creating an executive summary for a particular account is hard. I’ve been told this is solved in the new Voyager platform.
A lot of time and effort needs to be spent on the front end blueprinting the data model that will be best for your company. Pramata has a lot of best practices for data models. Make sure the data model you choose fits your needs before you implement.
Pramata is a much better repository than what we had previously. Just knowing how many and what contracts we have and seeing them in an organized fashion has been of tremendous value. Also the ability to report across key terms helps multiple departments across the organization to manage contractual obligations and compliance.
Pramata not only gives me access to my commercial contracts, but it also allows me to quickly identify relevant terms, gain insights from those, and take action on risks found in our customer contracts. It’s easy to get to the contracts, understand what’s in them, and take action on readily available insights.
Living in today’s world of instant gratification has spoiled me, so the only area of improvement I can think of is the speed of reporting, which can take time. Considering we have 50,000 contracts in the Pramata platform, it isn’t really reasonable for the reporting to be instantaneous given the amount of computing happening across a very large data set.

Having access to customer contracts company-wide was something we didn’t have before Pramata. We are solving the blind spot we had relative to risk factors in our contracts, as we had no insight into how pervasive some terms were. As we grew by acquisition, we had contracts all over the place and we didn’t know what terms were in the contracts. We are using Pramata to identify revenue leakage, revenue opportunities and risk to revenue. An added benefit we didn’t know when we started was that Pramata is helping us prepare to move to the ASC606 accounting standard due to the accuracy of the contract information in the platform.
