I like to work with Postman for my backend development and testing in my company, postman helps me to test and trail my backend APIs before going to production.

As of now I didn't find any pros in postman software.

Postman is helping me to get rid of bugs during development of APIs, I used to test my APIs using different input, so that my system remains stable.

With the help of postman I develop API collection and share with other team members, so that I don't need to create seperate documentation of APIs.

I like That postman is easy to use and it also stores all api request history. over all i think it is a great tool

As such i dont dislike anything about postman. but some think that can be better is its performance and loading time

I generaly use postman for testing while desigining the API for my website. It help me to test my api better and debug it

Postman has a straightforward UI that allows non-technical users to interact with APIs in a meaningful way. I use it to test our APIs, as well as trigger specific jobs and processes.

There is not much to dislike. I am able to create collections of requests, and quickly duplicate them so that I can create variations. This allows me to quickly build an automated test suite.

Very little, actually. The biggest issue with Postman is occasional software failures, but they are usually associated with a poor build, and updates and fixes are quick to come out. I will say that while not exceedingly expensive, the user pricing model can be a little heavy-handed.

The team I manage creates a limited number of software products that are required to connect to various and unpredictable 3rd party APIs for our customers. We needed a tool that would help us set up and document our API requests and what the payload response would look like to ease in the integration process.

Postman is a easy to use tool to test API's. It's has user friendly interface. It has a large community for support.

It makes collaboration easy. The platform allows for easy sharing of collections and environments, facilitating seamless collaboration among team members.Postman excels in documentation generation, making it simple to create detailed documentation for APIs.

Login using different accounts in Linux is a very bad experience. They should be managing it in much better way.

Postman is solving API testing. Makes the process very easy.

The best thing about Postman is that it streamlines the process of API develeopment and testing very efficiently and smoothly, and one thing I like the most is the avalibility of this tool in vscode extension that makes developement and integration very easy.

one potential downside is that sometimes it lags when dealing with huge responses and mostly the user experience could have been better in postman vscode extension

Easy to run the API calls , save and automate the runs

API calls are not getting saved in basic version, there should be at least minimum number of calls should be same.

Easily run the API calls to Test, also add the initial level test cases.

As a custom integrations developer, I design api endpoints for both my projects and for clients. The time saved by using postman is incredible and much more accurate than doing everything by hand or searching through large libraries for what I need.

Postman enables code generation for any endpoint or api test you have, however, for authentication, postman has not code generation. Wouldn't it be great to have that oauth flow already coded out in a template with the needed details?

Everything I do with projects is custom, hand typed, work. Postman allows me to short cut the time it takes while also testing and maintaining examples of working setup and code.

No support for Command line interface is present.

Postman enables various integrations such as Azure management API, where i can test it in Postman, before deploying to Azure.

Postman has reduced testing time of Developers. They can test their API's in Postman in backend, without waiting for UI work to be done.

It's really good tool for API testing, the user interface is really User-friendly. We can set up different environment and do API testing.

Nothing so far, I find each and every feature of postman really useful

While developing a API, we require a software where we can test out the API end points. Also we can share the collection of the request which is really useful and easy to share with the client.
