The simplicity and the possibility to customize anything to your own needs, with or without help. I liked that I could do very much myself without asking helpdesks or having things specially built (and paid for)

Thanks to the Material Design framework even the default basic design looks great on all devices from desktop to smartphone.

Some of the advanced features like integration of 3rd party software is complex. However, that is often due to 3rd party vendors.

The single sign-on features within PortalCMS works great though.

I applied PortalCMS for a real estate website, applied an existing 3rd party commercial design template and assembling the functionality and UI with existing building blocks.

Within 3 weeks the site was launch ready, including easy registration of house owners, registration of their properties with various tags and characteristics and professional presentation online and via automatically generated e-mail notifications and digests.
