It is free and allows us to edit photos a lot.
It doesn't have some functionality, which you get in other software like Canva, Photoshop, etc.
It helps me to edit images smoothly and fast.
Face Detection is a very good feature in a app, overall a very good tool for photo editing
Not so user friendly, could have been betrerly organized
Editing photos in a better way
one of the best things to highlight is the interface, it is intuitive and easy to use, it is also difficult not to compare any editing tool with photoshop and polarr brings several features and characteristics of Adobe's software.
It does not allow you to open 16-bit files in Polarr, like most browser editors I know. You are limited to edit 8-bit JPEGs. However, in theory, you must submit to a lower quality workflow.
One more limiting aspect of Polarr is that it exports everything in an sRGB color space. This may be a limitation of its encoding, but it is less than ideal if you want to print your files on an inkjet printer. For web and online photo labs, it's fine.

Being a web editor, it makes it easy to have it always at hand, obviously if you have internet access, it also has an app version for android, which competes with other high quality apps.
In a photo-editing landscape that includes, on one end, super complex software like Photoshop, and on the other, a selection of simplistic online tools, it's great to have a middle ground. Polarr allows me to make finetuned edits to photos using a relatively straightforward UI so that even someone new to editing to pick up on how to use the program quickly!
For some tools, like the Detail options, it can be difficult to make the exact adjustment you're looking for when you can't type in a number you'd like to choose (you just have to click on the narrow slider and try to hit the number you want).
If you find yourself wanting a simpler editor than Photoshop that still allows you to make finetuned edits to your photos, Polarr is an excellent choice.
It's great to be able to have a fully fleshed out photo editing tool without the overly complicated UI of some competitors. Polarr feels like a robust editor that's actually accessible to your average photographer (both in price and in features!).
I have used many other photo editors but I found polarr the best. It is free and easy to use. It has many useful features which help us to make our photos awesome. It has a great number of filters. The ai feature is the best one. I used it many times to edit my photos and make them more attractive
Many times while using Polarr it has been closed automatically and I lost all my work. I don't know it is a polarr error or my system but it happens. One more thing is that it does not confirm the user before closing the tab if someone is working online. It should confirm the user before quitting the tab to save the user data if the user clicks the close button excedently.
I have used it for photo editing many times due to low-resolution camera photos not looking good. So to make photos more awesome I used polarr. It is my good experience all the time working in polarr. so it helped me to make my photos more beautiful. It is also very easy to use. By using this I don't need to use other heavy software for photo editing. Polarr made everything easy for me.
I like how Polarr has various filters both for free and for purchase. It is easy to use and allows a user to select a face in each photo to make specific edits. Most other apps are costly or make facial edits look too fake, but Polarr allows for various depths to each edit. Polarr's included presets are visually stunning and there is something for everyone. If you are looking for more of an "art" edit, there are options to make your photos pop and look unique. If you want a more subtle and natural feel, Polarr has some great settings for that too. Using Polarr just makes everything easier. I really love the teeth affect where you can whiten and adjust teeth color. You can also smooth skin and edit skin tones if you need to. Another feature I enjoy is the radial feature. You can choose if you want to edit the people, the sky, an object....and so forth. This makes editing so much easier for social media.
I do not like the update of Polarr for mobile. I think this update makes things a bit harder to use and doesn't differentiate between the free and for purchase effects and filters well enough. When using the free version of Polarr, make sure to check your settings before you start creating or getting comfortable with your design. If you end up adding features that cost money, it won't tell you until the end and you will be forced to go back and begin again if you choose to not pay for the app. Polarr doesn't really emphasize their customer support and can be difficult when you need answers. Downloading overlays can also take some time when on a mobile device. Yes, these overlays are wonderful to help people find nice filters, but it can take up extra time or run you behind when in need of a quick edit.
I recommend using the free version of Polarr if you know you only need basic edits and adjustments.
With Polarr, I am able to make adjustments as needed to photos of all kinds. We use the free version of the app and we are able to save money while also getting quality results that we love and post on our websites and social media. I am able to do quick edits and save time when needed. Polarr is also very user-friendly. Other apps like Lightroom require a more in-depth knowledge on photo editing and can be tricky for first-time users or beginners. Polarr allows everyone to feel comfortable and mistakes are easily fixed by using this app by using the undo or back buttons. There aren't any specific "business problems" we are solving with Polarr. However, we do enjoy using an app for mobile for when we are on the go and need to make quick fixes. I would like to see a text feature added to Polarr so we could use that for business purposes as well.
I have never used the paid version of Polarr. I think I would use it if my company paid for it, but I don't find it necessary.
