Technology Skills for Business
High-Quality Course Content, Skill IQ Assessments, Personalized Learning Paths, Ease of Use
Outdated Course Content, Limited Hands-On Labs, High Subscription Cost, Lack of Soft Skills Content
Users generally praise Pluralsight Skills for its comprehensive course library, industry-leading instructors, hands-on projects, and interactive assessments. They appreciate the flexibility of learning at their own pace, the ability to track progress, and the provision of certificates upon course completion. However, some users have expressed concerns regarding the platform's user interface, the occasional technical glitches, and the lack of instructor-led live sessions or personalized feedback. Overall, Pluralsight Skills is highly regarded for its extensive course offerings and engaging learning experience, though it may benefit from improvements in user-friendliness and interactivity.

The AWS cloud courses were instrumental in obtaining my AWS practitioner certification. Easy to follow and understand , they were great.
The classes for AWS could be a little more updated.
It helps with on going and up-to-date business topic learning. It also helps with a diverse set of IT related topics.
There are so many things to love about Pluralsight Skills ... from the ability for learners to benchmark skills through Skills IQs, to customized training based on skills performance, to the ability to show skills growth across the organization in a very quantifiable way, this is hands down the best technical learning platform. We also have a rockstart customer enablement team who ensured that we were prepared to implement training in an impactful and engaging way.
I wish our LMS could more easily integrate with Pluralsight Skills, but that is a limitation of our LMS and not Pluraslight.
Pluralsight SKills is helping us to quickly upskill / reskills staff in various technologies. We can demonstrate the ROI of training direclty to skills growth in a very quanitifiable way.
Pluralsight's Skill IQ feature is a game-changer for professionals seeking to guage and enhance their tech skills. It helps learners to set the bar before they start their training, and eventually assess knowledge retention. Once the initial assessment is completed, learners are provided with learning recommendations and paths to alleviate the burden of a self-driven catalog search and connect them directly to the content that will move the dial for them. Similarly, it enables managers and leaders to cofidently keep a pulse on the skills their teams have aquired and areas of opportunity.
I struggle to find many dislike about the Pluralsight platform and offerings; However, it is a very specific scope and currently is taylored best to technical professionals. I believe the company is working towards broadening its scope with content geared towards general users and leaders to enable them to broaden their technical literacy, but this is a work in progress.
Our business uses Pluralsight content and Skills assessments for the ongoing learning of our technical professionals.
In addition to the vast library of great training videos, training teams can be created where team managers can use analytics to review the progress being made by their team members. Training goals can be established at the start of the year using Skill IQs to provide focus on gaps that may exist allowing team members to learn at their own pace through personalized learning.
Since it's subscription based, there's no lifetime access to the courses. That being said, it does allow for access to updated versions of the content so it's always up to date and new courses are being released regularly. However, it would be nice if you were notified when videos were being replaced or updated are currently reside in your Company channel.
It provides an easy to use platform that team managers can use to help guide their team member's technical growth through structured, yet customized learning.
Pluralsight has robust and quality content so it applies to many areas of our business as a helpful, on the job learning tool. We love the Skill IQ feature for measuring progress on skills over time. This has been a great motivational tool for our employees. Mostly, we love the partnership withour team at Pluralsight. They are champions for learning and are fantastic at helping us roll out strategic learning initiatives to drive engagement.
I know they've acquired a few other systems/platforms over the years and it would be great to see those partnerships integrated into the platform more seamlessly.
Skills measurement and skill inventory for our teams.
Pluralsight has high quality course content, providing in depth learning across various technologies. Skill IQ is my favorite as it tailors custom learning plans to your profiency levels.
Better analytics and reporting for reporting up the chain to leadership
We have skills gaps that we are trying to solve for and as we continue to identify our current technical skills across our company we can leverage Pluralsight to help address those challenges
I love that it recommends content based on your profile. I also really like the hands-on labs as an addition to skills. It's extremely productive.
I see no downsides to Pluralsight. Maybe the cost, however I believe you get what you pay for and Pluralsight is well worth the investment.
We are able to upskill our staff in the area of AWS.
It has thousands of courses from very recognized tech authors and very useful tools that can help the team.
From our perspective, it needs more Skill IQ to be added.
With the platform, we have been able to offer excellent content to all development teams so that they can work on increasing their mastery of the technology they use.
With being for relatively a long time in the IT industry and mostly working on the same technology stack can make a person feel that they know it all. But the reality is that though the technology might be the same, the eco system has changed a lot and our adaption and learning should be continuos to stand out from the rest. Skills give us a very valuable assessment of where we stand. Especially with the degree of difficulty increasing when one answers a question correctly, brings out the best in an individual. The best part is that once we are done with the assesment, it does not leave us high and dry but speaks about our strengths and gaps and to top it it recommends courses (sometime clips) for us to go back and upskill ourseleves in the respective areas. The ability to retake it the second time is also a cool option so that the users can better their first attempt score. The view results is also another good option (most of the platforms dont do this so as to hide the questions) but it gives complete transparency .
With being very new to the platform, i am yet to find one.

I like the Role IQ and skill IQ feature a lot in Pluralsight. Also, apart from this, Pluralsight provides free access to the certification practice questions and has interactive courses and projects available to ensure that whatever you learn sticks.
The only thing I would expect from Pluralsight is to make the hands-on labs feature available even for individual customers. Even though that feature exists in the platform but still is not available for individual members, again, if it is included in the membership, maybe by charging a little extra, I would assume it would be appreciated by the Pluralsight Skills individual users Community.
If you want a single platform that will cater to your needs, then you seriously should be using this platform. Excellent hands-on courses, Role IQ, and Skills IQ are the features that make this platform stand apart from the competition.
Pluralsight Skills has always kept me up to date with the ever-changing technology World. Be it Certification Preparations or just learning a technology you want to get exposure to, skills helps you in the same. They have expanded library of courses ranging from development to infrastructure and business management etc(more than 7500 +). Hence It became my go-to platform for studying.
