That it saves time. Me and my colleagues can handle much more requests and projects due to the complete PM workflow.
It helps keep all the information organized and easy to reach.
The ''Status Report'' option helps with the monthly, anually and ad-hoc reports.
Syncronization with the CAT tool is a wonderful plus.
Overrall a wonderful tool for PMing in the translation industry.
The lack of customization is a downside. There is only so much you can change within the system and I would appreciate a way to customize even more aspects of a project created with the CAT Tool syncronization.
It helps organize the information in one place.
It helps with reports.
It helps with automated tasks.
Plunet BusinessManager has notably improved our operational efficiency in managing translation projects. Its powerful automation capabilities have been a major asset, significantly reducing manual effort and minimizing errors. This has been particularly beneficial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality translations consistently.
The platform's customizable workflow system is a key feature for us. It allows us to tailor our processes to meet the varied and specific needs of our clients, an essential aspect for our role as a large language service provider.
As a regular user of Plunet BusinessManager, one downside I've encountered is the system's complexity, particularly when it comes to customization and setup. While the ability to tailor workflows is a significant advantage, configuring these to fit our specific project requirements can be quite intricate and sometimes requires a deeper technical understanding than expected.
Plunet helps streamline and automate various aspects of translation and language service management, from project handling and client management to financial tracking and quality control. This not only enhances efficiency but also helps in delivering high-quality translation services.
The connectivity options are great, we connect to our cloud MemoQ server which provides a seamless experience for our project managers. This direct integration has sped up our projects with automation which can be connected to the customer front end portal. The U.S. support is really good, even with the team being based in Europe. Great cloud compatibility: we're hosting in Azure which is pefect for our customer compliance requirements.
A little harder to learn to use than other systems. Costs can add up for modules and licensing.
Connectivity with MemoQ for full automation increases speed by decreasing touchpoints and reducing human error.
The workflow automation and its powerful analytical modules.
Plunet being a full-fledged BusinessManagement system has yet for us to explore all its functionality, hence will hope to have more learning from their coaches.
Data Analysis on each project ROI, resources KPI, part of our client account projects' workflow and others. Before using Plunet, with Excel and manual tracking/scheduling, it takes our PMs and our finance a lot of time to analyze who are the clients that have helped in contributing to the profitability of the company and where are we in terms of financial performance. Now, we have the information right at our finger tips and it helps our board members/co-founders to make informed decisions for future development of our group of companies.
It's modular nature is its most atractive characteristic according my point of view. When we started using it in 2016, we just needed the core system, but some years later we also adopted the Vendor Module so the resources desiring to work with us could apply with ease and we can save some processing time for the Vendor Department members; and the QA Module to have the chance to get an objective score on project basis for each resource involved in the process. Last year we went one step further and implemented some automations to reduce the operations stress and till now everything is working beautifuly.
We had experience a limit in the system when trying to export data, so we are currently working around to get the information we need. Since 2016, this is the first time Plunet itself it's not enough for us.
Plunet is the structure which supports all our operations. It allows us to keep records of an entire project lifecycle including mails, files and payments.
Plunet's reporting capabilities have made a huge impact on the way we run our business. Having access to visualize the numbers and workflows of the company is essential to detecting our strengths and weaknesses easily, and all the automation/integration features and continuous updates from Plunet allow us to put all that data to good use by creating customized processes that address our specific needs. Go Plunet!
Since the fundamental base of Project Management is multi-tasking, we would really love Plunet to enable multiple tabs open at the same time :)
We use Plunet for almost everything: from Client/Vendor Management, to Quoting, assigning Projects via the integration with our CAT tool, deliveries via the customer portal, invoicing, and the most powerful tool: reporting. Lots of processes centralized under the same platform save time and money for the company!
Flexibility and versatility with great customer support.
Some features are not easily discoverable.
Plunet enabled us to unify the processes in several business branches operating independently in various countres. Plunet proved itself as a solid tool for all business stakeholders, from project managers to chiefs of operations and the company management board.
Translation management runs smothly as the project managers team collaborates in a single workspace. In Plunet's environment worklfows are easily applied and managed, while the whole process is easily tracked and automated. Connection with CAT tools is a great time saver for project managers. Collaboration with clients and vendors via their respective portals facilitates vendor and customer relationship management.
Plunet enabled our managing board to get enhanced business reporting with real-time information from the whole group.
Since 2011, we have been utilizing Plunet in conjunction with the memoQ program as our primary system for managing translation projects. Working with Plunet has made our daily tasks significantly easier, faster, and more transparent, enabling us to save considerable time and human resources.
Furthermore, Plunet consistently takes care of the program's ongoing development to ensure it aligns with the latest standards in the translation industry.
There is nothing to dislike about Plunet at the moment.

Plunet completely changed the way we saw our business. We can access various reports such as sales, profitability, and supplier evaluation and manage our findings. As an ISO 17100-certified company, it is great to have a tool that can be tailored to our needs.
The integration with the CAT tool we used was quite simple.
Customer service is very good. Whenever we had problems, they solved them right away.
We use Plunet every day of our lives, now we can't imagine working without it.
It was difficult to implement because it is difficult to match your old system with a new system. In addition, it has some issues that could be automated, such as the "save" button, which you have to press all the time; it is also difficult to search for a list of customers or suppliers and you have to go one by one.
I've already informed about this.
