What I like most about Plotto technology is not only because it conducts traditional surveys (this is the best), but also because it allows respondents to record video responses.

The user interface could look better. This has been on the road map of the support team. I'd also like to see face recognition more often, but that's all I want.

It can be used incredibly easy. All your data can be easily read and filtered if necessary. The cost is adequate for what the software offers and the customer service is there to help you overcome possible obstacles.

As a company pollster who can watch the video, it's great to be able to see how respondents create a video and be able to see respondents' responses. This program also provides a transcript of these responses on video and an analysis of sensations based on facial recognition.

Plotto lets me SEE what my subjects are saying. To me, the most unique and useful feature of this survey tool is the ability to let users record a video answer. Plotto gives me the video, a sentiment analysis based on facial expressions, and a transcript which saves so many steps. I used it for executive-level interviews recently and got great insights from watching the short answers. What used to take days to manage and review, took only hours! There's something about video that makes people open up which is great for a researcher!

The interface could look a little better on the admin side.

I found that using a more conversational style with respondents put them at ease about using the video. Make sure to tell them who will see the video(s) and how they will be used. We only had one respondent who refused to record their video in our last study. I was pleasantly surprised by that.

Plotto is letting me do interviews with more people, faster, and at lower cost. Whereas before some clients wouldn't opt for the cost of in-person interviews (travel, time, fees, disruption), now they readily go for the remote, no-travel-cost, quicker answer, video interviews.

You can make really cool presentations using various tools from the panel; plus you can see what the responders are saying at the same time and you can correspond accordingly. There is a free version of Plotto as well for anyone who can't afford to get the full version. You can also get a transcript of the video answers which could really help and save lots of time.

It's a bit overpriced in my opinion, but if you want great content I think it suffices. Any mistakes made can only be fixed manually.

Because we can do real-life or realistic surveys, it is easier to see what and how the responders actually feel and whether or not they agree or disagree. The video communications feel so real.

It allows you to run a market research for product or service and can be location based. It provides the actual feedback from potential clients or customers which works perfect.

Its not too accessible. The way to start up with it seems easy but gets kind of hard get through and the free trial isn't as expected as well. If I'm based outside of 1st world countries I should also be able to access people in those countries aswell for survey.

Research on the market or surveying the market with product or service to be provided. It can be useful to start up and even existing businesses looking to maybe launch a new product or service.

The fact of engage with my customers just with a video. We do really love the "new" and different ways of doing things. We do our surveys with it and our customers love it, we do aswel!

Some of the menus are quite "laggy" at the start but once it is fully loaded it works nicely.

The ability to plot the actual figures on graphs as against answering conventionally is really helpful is saying real answers and looking at real time statistics.

Awareness of how to use the survey and plotting tools is not very well explained on the site. May be that could take some more working to develop further.

Slightly expensive upfront cost. There's other tools that provide the same service for cheaper or next to nothing.

Plotto not only does the traditional survey stuff but also lets you record videos which factors in how people really feel. great quality service and ease of use. you can see respondent-responses as they happen. customer support is always there to help.

I don't think Ive come across anything too major besides user interface. by that I just mean it could look a little bit nicer. support says this is their roadmap. also, sometimes you get multiple responses from respondents where they have made a mistake and have to manually change this.

great data analysis tools, custom survey URLs, and supports audio, video and images. great bang for your buck!
