Throughout the last several iterations of the software, Planisware has taken customer feedback seriously and created a platform that can be used with very little customization. This reduces implementation, consulting and maintenance costs.

During an implementation it is essential to consider how the product will be supported long term. It is essential to have team members that are super users and trained by the vendor to support the organization efficiently.

Ensure there is ample support for post go-live. Most users are frustrated by simple navigation and or reporting and without a trained administrator this can lead to delayed user buy in.

We are primarily able to resolve resource conflicts both before and during project progression. We utilize the resource planning module extensively and plan global projects at the task level. We are able to use this information to show leadership the FTE's needed to complete a project. Additionally, this information has been used to support hiring additional headcount to support the portfolio.

Complex software is complex to use, but I wouldn't expect a solution with all this functionality to not require some level of training.

Planisware is feature laden and flexible to meet a variety of use cases. Good user training with clear processes and organizational commitment will lead to a successful implementation.

The ability to bring people and fiscal resource planning with actuals all under one roof for portfolio optimization analysis is game changing in aligning the organization.

Ability to manage complex schedules using templates and work breakdown structure for consistency. Forecasting ability using demand management, time actuals and costing of projects. Modular approach that allows segmenting work for appropriate accessibility by roles. Out of box customization.

User on-boarding is time consuming on front end but benefit of consistency will be gained over time. Coding requited for detailed upgrades. Not cloud based.
