Improving predictable delivery

As we agreed on KPI measured in Plandek, we can easily follow how our SCRUM team performs overall. It helps to see trends, check the SPrint health and highlighst where we are not following the agreed/expected process, which issues are the problem cases, what is causing distracktion.

Not as easy to set up dashboards like in Atlassian's JIRA, but with a little practice you can manage.

It helps to define KPIs and track the progress, performance of the SCRUM teams.

A good connection between Plandek and Jira, helping on the detailed understanding of all tickets, data driven information and also the capacity to compare performances between teams and even "market trends". Also, the customizable Dashboards, fitting what we want and need "to see".

Great customer support and constant overall feedback from the Plandek Team.

The information setup and customization of dahsboards can easily show "wrong" data (for example if we inadvertently put a wrong fliter). This mean a relatevely complex learning process on how to proper use the tool.

The tool is mostly focused on software delivery, leaving other areas of the IT Teams (product, design, etc) with not so relevant metrics to use.

The support and guidance from their team has been exceptional, from the initial workshops on what we wanted to achieve (our northstar outcomes) to getting the right metrics in place to drive those changes.

Nothing Plandek specific at this time in our Plandek rollout.

We're increasing our visibility of bottlenecks in our software development lifecycle, allowing us to tweak our processes and behaviours to remove waste in our end-to-end lifecycle.

We're able to see how long it takes to get a good idea into the hands of our customers.

sometimes when you want to learn more about a speciifc metric and click on its help icon, it takes you to a genric help page which is not always helpful!

The intuitive dashboard offers real-time metrics that have significantly improved our visibility into project performance.

Once set up and configured, it's incredibly informative. I really like that their customer support are so responsive and get back to me quickly. I have a number of Scrum Masters, so I regularly (every other day) use Plandek to go in and check on their teams' progress. One of the most powerful features I'm finding at the moment is their Smart Insights feature.

I think it could be a bit more intuitive, I've had to contact customer services with a number of queries. Perhaps providing some 'how to' videos is an avenue that could be looked into, as I'd find it very useful

I'm encouraging my team to use Plandek insights and metrics to find ways to improve delivery. We've been using it less than 3 months and already finding areas to improve, that we didn't in our previously used tool.

I have been using Plandek for a while now and it is quite intuitive to use. There are a vast selection of metrics that can be configured to give you pretty much anything you can think of. The support staff have always been really helpful and quick in assisting when I have come across anything I could not figure out how to do for myself. The metrics have definetely helped me improve our sprints and highlight areas for improvement I had not even thought of.

Deleted ticket data from ADO is not updated as frequently as other data and can cause anomolies although only in the short term.

It has allowed me to report on productivity and more importantly more accurately predict future productivity. It has also allowed me to improve our sprints by highlighting areas for improvement.
