PEX helps our organization eliminate petty cash. It's saving our accounting time and physical human efforts.
There is nothing I can think of that I don't like. It's very easy to implement.
We were using petty cash but now we can load the money and give it to employees they can spend and take care of receipts by using cellphone pictures or scanning.
It's easy to setup and to allocate funds for each employee or contractor.
More of a problem with the ACH system. Funds can take awhile to get from the bank into PEX.
It makes purchasing for our contractors easier. We don't have to reimburse them and be stuck with surprise expenses. Our contractors don't have to worry about going over budget.
I love this card! We are able to track receipts more efficiently, thus making the monthly reconciliation a breeze!
It take a while for the bank to release the funds to the Pex Account. Not really a Pex issue, more so our bank!
Making monthly credit card reconciliation ten times easier. It is easy to track purchases. Thus we can run a tighter budget.
The ability to track purchases and to access the card number when I do not have it on hand.
How long it takes for the bank transaction to take place (1-3 days vs immediate transfers)
It is benefiting us because we do not have to purchase multiple bank cards.
Easy reports to see transactions. I like that you can attach your receipts to the transactions
There is nothing I dislike about using this card.
No problems at this time

Digitally capture my receipts and add proper coding in real time rather than waiting til end of month
I dislike the confusion without a chip card
All my expenses are covered with no need to reimburse me
I like to be able to set up budgets by card users, collect receipts with the app and being able to replace cards as needed without the hassle of the credit card companies. It is very easy to activate and deactivate from your phone app/tablet or computer and transfer funds. You can create a hierarchy and transfer funds between locations that allow the locations to have an administrator and be able to transfer from locations to the cardholder/card users.
They can improve or have a a better tag or account number option. It needs to be typed versus having a table with drop down with list of accounts to select from.
Training staff how to capture images and tag transactions is very important. Start with one location or staff to learn and implement process.
Less payable reimbursement to staff, better control of expenses by limiting the dollars by week or month easy to remove and add funds as needed.
I like how easy you can transfer money from card to card. Also the receipt upload is amazing! It really helps with the hassle of remembering to keep and turn in receipts to the office.
The transfer of money from bank to PEX account sometimes takes up to 7 days so that would be the only dislike.
PEX makes it easy to give a card and spending boundaries for people. It has really helped limit who spends what and how much they allowed on their card.

PEX is so user friendly. Creating and controling cards is so easy. The app helps a lot when you are away from the office/desk. The ability to add receipts and notes to all transactions is great.
The only downside could be that the bank we use does not connect to PEX. We have to wire when we need additional funds added to the main account.
The problem is giving access to employees to funds needed to carry out client needs.
