I like the functionality of the site. It really caters to the pest industry. It sure helps out with the visual grouping side of things, the route filler feature is nice also.
The routing/ optimizing features are broken, any tech that has run and organized his own route knows he will be better able to run the route.
I have really enjoyed the organization it has brought to my company. Keeping all stops easily on schedule and routing basics are simple enough that my least trained staff can still make their way through it all.
The interface, the automatic reminders, the scheduling. You can't go wrong when switching to this software. Been with them for several years now and still research other companies as they come up to see if I need to switch but no one is outperforming PestRoutes. 4 years going strong with them
For residential its wonderful. Still trying to work on the commercial side so just make sure and double-check to make sure it has the capabilities you need for anything you might be doing custom and specific to your company and not necessarily the industry.
Look at exactly how you are tracking customers and how you are keeping track of the services and make sure it lines up with what PestRoutes has to offer.
We can search all the notes to make sure anything between the technicians and office doesn't fall through the cracks. Routes are more efficient than ever with their mapping capabilities. Collections are effortless.
We love that the software itself is very easy to use and teach to new employees. Setting up customers and appointments takes very little time. Software's we have used in the past were super time consuming to teach employees and it was time consuming to add appointments and customers.The support from PestRoutes has also always been very timely. They helped us implement a data conversion, provided onsite training & support the day we switched over and have always been just an email or call away.
I would like to see some color coding or different functionality in the scheduling screen.
I would look at all the options out there and I think you will see PestRoutes is continually growing as well as updating their system based on real user feedback. They understand the Pest Control industry for sure and are also learning more about other Service related businesses they support.
We can have multiple businesses in the same database. We really love that PestRoutes works with us on creating reports to gain information analysis we never had in the past. The tracking of employees in the field is very useful too. One of the benefits we really like is the communication options to customers. Text messaging, email, and phone calls can all be automated and implemented consistently.
How easy the platform is to use and that it is customize able. Pest routes makes it easy to access the information I need. I am able to track my applicators live, go back and review paperwork. Make changes to routes, customer accounts, billing, scheduling, reports, sales, etc. I am also able to manage all my interstate locations and organize my SP's into teams.
That you cannot search the entirety of your pest routes for a customer without first selecting the branch. There was no training for me in pest routes so I am unfamiliar if there are more features that I haven't discovered that may be helpful.

We are more efficient in catching mistakes on our service slips. We are able to preform quality control from a distance and oversee the daily operations of our branches. Our customer leason team is able to go into pest routes and edit current routes and send messages to service professionals. We can also add notes to any account that are only available to certain individuals.
Anna Newport is a forms developer and she is awesome, we have had to build and design several forms when we moved over to a digital system and she is ez pz to work with. It's a lot of work but we just go from one form to another over the past 9 months. I really appreciate her hard work.
The only complaints I hear about Pestroutes is syncing issues with the wireless tablets, but I am not sure yet if that is a Verizon issue or what. Logging in and out and closing out of the app does seem to fix it however.
We have solved many problems with Pestroutes, having digital forms is so much better then paper forms. We can quickly inspect a house and fill out the form then email it from the truck.
The amount of options available to you from reporting, tracking, scheduling, billing - there is tons of features and options for you to play around with. I like the notification system in particular, it seems to work really well with our customers. Another great feature is the
Occasionally the software runs a bit slow, but it runs fine most of the time. One of the big things I would like to see added are route value totals for the day to the calendar view. I would also like to see a chat options built into the techroutes app and pestroutes office software to be able to more efficiently communicate with the team.
Detailed scheduling was a big headache for me before with the other CRM we used. The amount of time saved by using pestroutes to schedule our techs routes is amazing. It optimizes the routes and allows us to put special scheduling notes for specific customers.
The system is very robust but also quite simple to navigate. It handles everything from invoicing to scheduling to reminders. We probably don't utilize the full functionality of the reporting features, as there are many, many options for reports.
I wish we could automatically charge cards without having to manually do it later. It's a simple click of the button, but sometimes it's easy to forget. I also wish that there was an easy way to immediately see which customers required printed invoices from the daily scheduling view.

Customer service is great. I like how responsive your support team is. I also like how the designers are always looking for new ways to improve the product.
The thing that I have had the most problems with is the scanner portion of the app. It's very frustrating to scan in all the stations and them have them lost due to a glitch in the software. This happens so often that I am afraid to try to use the app to scan the stations. I am way disappointed in the app for this reason.
Just make sure you do a thorough review of the software to make sure it will do all that you want and expect it to do.
Scheduling is great. I am able to get payment easily with a touch of a button. I can run routes more efficiently. I am also able to get rid of using most paper. I like the paperless system.
We love how simple Pest Routes makes it to take care of them. Our field technicians and salesmen find it simple and seamless and the office has their information instantly. This keeps our customers happy because we have everything we need to help them as best we can.
We wish changes could be made faster. When we have new ideas that we would like to see implemented, sometimes it can take longer for the team to implement the change. Also, we wish we were kept more in the loop about changes that are made to the software. Sometimes we find out just by logging in and noticing a difference. There are also lots of good features we feel we need more helping knowing how to implement.
Give it a shot. It's worth the effort to switch over.
We find it is easy to customize our services and reach our customers in a more simplified way. We also find that record keeping is easier with Pest Routes. Our field technicians like being able to save their notes and chemical usage electronically and the office likes not having to enter that information manually. They automatically have it once the technician uploads it in the field.

The Routing is amazing and I love how easily I can access all of my branches from my iPhone. Reporting is also very intuitive easy to follow. The service report is easy to fill out and very customizable
I don't care for the selling process on the iPhone I find it not very intuitive and difficult. I have used better selling platforms. I also don't care for its inability to let multiple users access one customers profile at a time
It's helped stream line our routing and make us more efficient. Field routes is constantly releasing new updates and staying ahead of what their customers are looking for. I also love the ability to text from the app
