User friendly
What do you like best about PatientNow?
It’s pretty easy to use and learn. It has many functions that are great for a med spa. This system allows us to schedule and build packages that suit our business.
What do you dislike about PatientNow?
The inventory programming is behind. There is no live ordering or tracking. They also don’t allow more than one barcode per product.
What problems is PatientNow solving and how is that benefiting you?
This system helps to schedule and track inventory. It also allows us to build quotes so we can easily tell the patient how much a surgery or service will cost.

Best EMR I've used.
What do you like best about PatientNow?
I love the integration with so many other softwares. I like how many features there are that make my job easier, such as the waitlist feature. And, internal communication is made easy!
What do you dislike about PatientNow?
It is not the most user-friendly system there is. If you have never used EMR before, it can be challenging to pick up. However, once you have learned how to use it - the tools are incredible useful.
Recommendations to others considering PatientNow?
Best EMR I've used, a must-have for aesthetics practices.
What problems is PatientNow solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication both with patients and between staff members is made easy. I love the drag and drop features. I also love the patient portal integration for digital paperwork and going paperless.

Patient Now emr
What do you like best about PatientNow?
that you can have inventory and patient charts housed in 1 system. The scheduling is easy to use. You can also track what people are doing and who has done what work
What do you dislike about PatientNow?
Many steps to set the systems up, to work together.

Just to make things simple to use, and to make different systems work together
What problems is PatientNow solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having electronic medical records, saves storage space in the office. We are beginning to use the inventory POS portion, so we can cut down on inventory losses.

What do you like best about PatientNow?
Patientnow is very easy to use to schedule my patients appointments. I'm also able to manage all of our POS system on patientnow as well
What do you dislike about PatientNow?
Patientnow freezes once a day for about 10 seconds (this may be due to my older computer)
Recommendations to others considering PatientNow?
It's a great EMR system. Very easy to understand. It has an array of features for your small business needs (POS, Inventory, Prescription management).
What problems is PatientNow solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online booking. All other medical practices in our area use online booking and we can finally say we offer it as well.

PatientNOW a practise with purpose
What do you like best about PatientNow?
It automates your practice and it is easy to use. With its patient portal you can manage your experience and reports to suite your needs. it is quite affordable and gives a clear guideline on the procedures you will undergo. Its booking procedure is quite wonderful with up to date reminders
What do you dislike about PatientNow?
It is not that informative enough. There is no guaranteed safety of patients records and reports and the fact that its not an offline based means there is no feed back in case of a network failure.

It is definetly a good trial

Patient Now works for our practice
What do you like best about PatientNow?
I work in a busy cosmetic and bein clinic. We facilitate our operations by using Pt Now. We are able to manage multiple schedules at once.

It seems to take a while to learn how to work all the facets of the program.

Not SALES savvy, But a very well put together layered program.
What do you like best about PatientNow?
The benefits are that you can customize every aspect of the program to what you are using it for. It has excellent use for the medical industry for sure.
What do you dislike about PatientNow?
It is a complex program to learn. You have to be very computer savvy to run 'Admin.' Not to mention, It is almost impossible to keep track of the sales part of the business.
What problems is PatientNow solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use PatientNow to keep track of all Patient charting, Invoicing, scheduling, and photos. It helps us keep everything organized when putting together Patient charts.

Works great for our cosmetics/injectables clinic
What do you like best about PatientNow?
1. They have a treatment pathways option where it reminds users when to do a follow up call, retreatment call, and cancellation calls. This is great for patient retention and we use it daily. There’s also a patient communications tablet where it’s easy to keep track of all communications between the office and patient. 2. I also like the injectables tab when documenting treatments; it makes it easy to document procedures. It’s easy to insert in data points (medical history, allergies) from this into your SOAP note as well and you can set it to pre-populate. 3. I like that Consents can be signed right into the EMR. 4. I also love sticky notes option— I can write in important alerts or notes that pop up right away every time the patient’s chart is opened up.
What do you dislike about PatientNow?
With documentation, the formatting (editing tables, headers) can be restrictive. It’s not as easy as it could be to create and delete tables. Making templates is slightly complicated to make it "pretty" and getting the headers and tables to line up, but a tech savvy person could figure it out. We have problems sending e-scripts from patient now, so we just call in scripts or print a paper copy after writing it up in the prescription/orders tab. We are having problems sending emails from patient now (for follow up emails) and tried to ask Patientnow IT to help but they have yet to fix it for us. IT support and customer service for patient now is lacking.

It's great for the right type of practice, such as practices utilizing cosmetics, lasers, injectables.
What problems is PatientNow solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our problem can be patient retention, patients forget to come back. The retreatment pathways help us keep track of who to call.
