Its user interface is very intuitive, and the documentation and tutorials top class
I honestly can't come up with anything to mention that I dislike.
I am using it to scrape and parse challenging web content, which would otherwise require 100's of lines to pull using Selenium and beautiful soup.
The tool helps is collecting the data from any page of pages (Up to 200 pages for free version) and get you the defined data on .CSV or JSON which can be used for creating any database or dashboards. This has helped me save so much of manual work and time as Parsehub did it in minutes
The pricing is a bit expensive per month. Although we stood with trail only as we wanted to collect just some information and trail was very easy to setup as it helped us to test, we collected the data what we needed which allowed us to work on 5 projects containing 200 pages each for one project, but again if the price was a good deal for us we would have bought the product but we did not as we thought we wouldn't require working frequently.
If you want a platform that can copy anything from one page or number of pages you can train the platform on what to copy and what you need on a JSON or CSV file. The tool has helped me a lot as it can extract the data for me, the pricing is a little bit more than competitors but again you pay for what you get, you wouldn't require coding knowledge for using the tool.
We were trying to extract the data from eBay with all e-commerce products, the links of the sellers, the ratings of the sellers, the prices of products, positive and negative comments, ratings of the products as well to a data sheet which we can use for exporting to Tableau for creating data sets or creating data connectors. I have used the tool in a very productive manner, this tool did not require me to have coding experience which was the best part of the tool.
No coding experience is required for using Parsehub which is the best part, the web scraping from Parsehub is very effective and I would highly recommend the tool. The tool is great for getting 10000's of data in minutes by collecting the data that you have asked the tool to collect. The web data extraction from Parsehub is extraordinary, it's a free tool which is one of the best things about the tool and it does everything that you expect it to do. Highly recommend this tool. And I have done a good amount of research for selecting this tool, there are no substitutes available for replacing such effective and efficient tool.
I wouldn't say I dislike anything about the software as It does take time to go through all the pages, for the free version it took 40 minutes to go through 200 pages and for paid version the time was 20 minutes but again for what it does, time didn't matter. As what it does even in 40 or 20 minutes going through such big data it's just extraordinary.
If you want to use a free web scraping tool, I am sure your search will end on Parsehub. After using the free version my company invested in this side as the free version allows you 200 pages per project web data extraction, but again it's very effective in getting the data out for data analysis or dashboarding. Another recommendation to others is "You need no coding knowledge for using this tool, its very simple and it has tutorials within the tool itself which guides you completely for using this tool"
I wanted to get the data from app store shopping apps with apps links and ratings in an excel file, this was for us to create and manage our analytics dashboards. There were about more than 500,000 apps for one region in a category, Parsehub had solved our problem and made us have all the data in no time. And great thing is, I did this without any external help as normally web scrapping tool requires some coding experience.
It has the free option which is hassle-free sign up which was the best for my business to try if the tool was really worth investing in and surprisingly this tool is great which made my company choose the software. It's not only used by one user but multiple users trying to extract data from different websites for data analysis specifically.
Its the best software for web scraping, made me save hours by doing everything on its own
The trial version was limited to 5 pages only which is a bit less than what I expected. But again it does the job
It is absolutely one of the best, and it's very easy to use. Its inexpensive too
We were trying to get the information from Apple's website for all the shopping category apps and then extracting the data into an excel sheet.
I am loving the PraseHub web scraper. I've had so much success with it, and it's just so easy to use. I'm a freelancer who does a lot of scraping for clients and this makes my life so much easier!
I can't believe I didn't know about PraseHub sooner. As a freelance data extractor, I need to find the best tools for my job. After using PraseHub, I don't think I'll ever go back to any of the other web scraping tools out there.
I have been working with PraseHub for the past 1year and it's one of the best products I've seen in the market. It has helped me save a lot of time by making it easy to collect data from any JavaScript and AJAX page. It's also very intuitive, can be used by anyone with basic skills, and is extremely reliable.
ParseHub makes the dirty work, all the things that you used to do manually to collect the information on a website, now is automatic with this solution, the best for bulk information collection
I think ParseHub needs to be a little bit more intuivite, a little bit more more user friendly, some times the steps are redundant and you need to do everything all over again.
it makes me aesy and fast collect bulk information and data from a website that before I was doing it manually so it is easy to execute this types of actions in less time.
I like that it offers features quite similar to import.io for a better price.
No web interface which can be convenient at times, although the desktop client is fine and relatively unbloated.
Scraping real estate listings
-Easy to use interface
-Fairly intuitive
-Low entry price (Free Tier is almost useless)
-Fast (If not using proxies)
-Great customer support
-Puzzle piece GUI is really simple to use
-The standard functions cannot get around many anti scraping measures
-Troubleshooting is not easy for large projects
If you know Python, Scrapy will get it done. If you are not a programmer, ParseHub is one of the cheapest and best options to be able to scrape massive amounts of data with little effort.
Their customer service is top tier. If you run into issues, they will help you. There documentation is also quite good.
I need to scrape sites to gather information. ParseHub allows me to do so for a relatively low price when compared to major competitors and with very little programming know-how.
I was able to Scarp the data properly. I was also to access data across multiple pages. The introductory project is really great to help you understand the tool.
I was not able to publish the compete scarped output. The output is very limited.
Scrap data for marketing purpose. The tool allowed me retrieve the required data.

by far the support, everyone is very kind and very fast to help. I have been in situations where my project was on a very tight deadline, and it wouldn't be possible to finish it without their help.
The learning tutorials are very simple, and they are great for easy tasks, however with more complicated websites that are harder to scrape, you need support to show you the tricks. I wish there was a place where I could learn them,.....
do the tutorials on the website community learning center
saves a lot of time when collecting data and it makes it very accessible due to its great flexibility of setting up the export format. It really helps us to make our projects stronger by backing them up with data obtained from parsehub
