Our People is a really simple and quick way to target key messages, it can be achieved in an interactive format able to gage understanding, feedback quickly and effectively!
There are some elements that just need neatening up - like being able to have landscape options, remove the banner of styles of card and able to customise font options.
Quick way to target messages that otherwise get lost in other forums - they can be timed for the shifts to come online which make it targetted and relevant information
It's so helpful not to save every employee's cell phone number. We like the statistics on who has read the information sent. It helps hold employees accountable for the information they should know!
Part-time staff members are not allowed on cell phones while working, and it would be helpful to have a desktop version so they could stay in contact while working if they are a desk employee.
We can quickly spread information to a staff of 350+ instead of having individual department heads do so. It keeps the information streamlined and not confusing between departments.
Intuative system that is easy to use. You can create some great content and target which of your employees needs to see various communications. Additional areas such as being able to upload files and manage access is also extremley useful.
The development Our People have done and continue to do improves this product. For any business looking to have a central communication tool, I cannot recommend this enough.
I honestly cannot think of any negatives at this time. When ever we have experienced an issue the support desk has always been at hand to assist/ resolve the issue or take onboard with a view to developing a solution.
Able to send quick, targetted communications. Currently in the files function we post rotas to our various teams. We are just starting to learn about/ use the smart forms function.
We have seven different restaurant locations and over 400 employees spread out throughout the Twin Cities, with varying schedules. That can often make direct, one:one communication difficult. OurPeople app was easy to set up and deploy to our team members. We have been able to use it for day to day communication, training, in the moment updates, and more. The best part is we can track who is receiving the information and when they are reading it, so takes the guess work out. The team at OurPeople are great to work with and very supportive.
Originally we were hoping for an option for auto-translation (English to Spanish) of our messages to ensure all of our employees had equal and timely access to messages. We have been able to find a work-around for that. Takes a little more time, but nothing that holds us back.

I like having the ability to send messages from top management all the way down to front-line employees. This reduces any errors in news traveling by word of mouth from the top down.
What I dislike the most is the limited capabilities when creating a broadcast. Oftentimes I have to leave and go to Canva to create an image, save it, then upload it just as a picture to OurPeople. If there were more ways to edit the broadcasts, it would be a better platform.
It is helping us with communication across all levels of the company. Previously, top management could not directly communicate with all front-line employees to get messages out that everyone needed to be aware of. This helps create visibility and consistency throughout the entire company.
They make each part of the implementation as seamless and customer-focused as possible. We have around 700 employees. This was by far one of the most efficient and well done implementations I have been through. I highly recommend the platform and the company.
There are no downsides as far as I am concerned.

We use OurPeople to communicate across multiple locations, and a large part of our workforce working in the field with no company email. This allows us to keep our workforce informed. The connection with our HRIS is seamless, ensuring 100% accurate information. The response and support of the OurPeople team are rock solid.
For me, the organization of the Team and the ability to limit broadcasts is the biggest downside. I would love to have more options to group employees.
Communication to an hourly workforce who is not in the same location and does not have access to company emails. Our communicatoin has increased and is much more engaging since we joined OurPeople.

Nothing....It's great. The only problem is the company was so fantastic I expect that level of service from all other vendors.
Our People gives our employees once place for all non-business related communication. It also allows us to reach those employees without E-mail
Integration with in-house tools resulted easy, and it worked great for our organization, the platform allowed keep connected the whole team from different countries
Personalization or documentation is poor in some cases, and we had some issues that took too much time to get solved; in some integrations, scenarios were our main issues.
