I am working as an Oracle CPQ developer in a very esteemed organization. Currently Oracle CPQ market is also in Boom. Even salesforce tried to create/launch a software with same features (Salesforce CPQ) but still it has some flaws and customers are not willing to use that. I do not find any negative point except the CICD process.

It makes complex product configuration very easy by breaking down the product/parts selection process. And also, each part of the product can be priced according to the selection. The user gets very flexibility in product configuration. Plus, users can apply for discounts and get approvals also. An approval process is very excellent.
I love that Oracle is used by my job to disperse needed information and updates daily. Also, it is very simple to use.
What I dislike about Oracle is that it is not used by all businesses. It is so great, everyone should use it!
Please add this application to your business it is a great addition.
There are currently no issues. The benefits are that the updates are consistent and there is no training needed to be able to use this CPQ.

I found it extremely easy to use from the very beginning. I have used several other CPQ tools and this is by far the most user friendly. When transitioning to a new process with a company this can cause quite a bit of headache, however the adoption of Oracle's CPQ was very seamless.Overall I've had a great experience with is thus far.
I don't have my complaints regarding the product. However, if I had to mention something, I would say that the user interface was a little outdated. This did not impact the overall performance of the tool, however it is not the most aesthetically pleasing.
I'd encourage you to research Oracle CPQ and see all of the functionalities that are included in the system.
I have been with several companies that did not have a formal quote-to-cash process and this tool solves that fantastically. Having disparate systems handling things such as proposals, quotes, etc. is not an efficient way to run an organization. In my case, it is crucial to know exactly where and when you'll be receiving payment.
