OpenArt AI has been very helpful
OpenArt AI has been very helpful. But from one second to the other, free offer was gone. The free was also very limited, but usable during a period of time. So they promised FREE, because it was trained on other works as "fair use", that's fair, I'm an artist too. But "free" soon became "somewhat free", and the model free to use shrunk to 1 model, and after this, there were practically the bare minimum left. Now it's not free at all anymore. So "fair use" is only good for OpenArt AI, who's not considering recession and that people can't afford more than bare minimum. Better to do a deal with the user - if you earn, then I want in! I'd think that would be fair use for all!

Misleading web campaign
Misleading web campaign. They have a full URL landing page explaining about their bald filter and an upload button. They grab your image then proceed to next stage which is sign up, obliged with throwaway Gmail to see where my image had gone. Was greeted with an editor for about 1 and half seconds which then turned into their ai landing page all dedicated and slowly about prompting and trying ai. No actual just bald filter Nd haven't tried using their ai to say make me bald yet because that's not what was advertised and what I want.

Disappointing and frustrating experience
I had a very disappointing experience. It feels like the service is deliberately set up to push users toward the paid version by prompting them to click 'enhance prompt.' Each time I try to refine my prompt in one way, the results get messed up in another ways, adding to the frustration.

Selected the monthly plan, got charged for the annual plan, support didnt care about it and instead used ai to generate a reply. Instead of a refund i got told to "use a different browser". Calling them out on their social media got me blocked. Scam warning...

Not to mention the website doesnt give you any directions for how to generate good images, so you will waste half of your super expensive credits on experimenting.

You will burn time and credits trying…
You will burn time and credits trying to get an image. The AI has not edit or critique function so you will constantly rewrite a prompt trying to get to to understand. And it bad like "woman with red hair" will make the sky red or the outfit red as well as her hair or maybe not the hair.
On top of that the general business practice of "subscribe for a monthly allowance of credits" is kind disingenuous and confusing because using different features make each image coast a different amount of credits.

Refund request
Mistakingly bought annual plan instead of monthly subscription because i was hasty and stressed and didn't notice that it was annual, sent refund request right away, but still didnt get any reply, though they said you can refund by some circumstances
will edit to 5 stars if they will refund

do not use this website
images not coming out how I wanted, oftentimes generating NSFW despite not allowing NSFW images, website hard to navigate, need to upgrade to get basic things that they used to have, like unlimited private storage history (trust me, I discovered this website in the beginning or the middle of 2023 and they used to have unlimited private storage). Discord server isn't any use at all. All in all, terrible website.

It's a scam
I joined OpenArt a few weeks ago to generate a LoRA. The character looked nothing like me, and neither did it look real or like a human. To regenerate, I deleted it.... and, with no warning from the software, realised that I couldn't generate another one. So, as of the first day, I couldn't do what I had intended to do. Out of 5K credits I used only 9. I immediately wrote an email asking for a refund (I paid for a year ahead). Then I wrote another one and contacted them on Discord 4 times, including 2 DMs. All my appeals were ignored. I now have a year paid ahead and no ability to generate a model, so there is no need to use the software. Money is in the drain, and their ignorance is appalling.

Very Poor
Removed my ability to create the 50 free images a day listed in their ToS. So I created a ticket - they said the ability is removed for all customers, which is a flagrant lie.

Images are substandard anyway, so I'll use something else.
