Sales process flow like quotation, sale order are managed correctly
Process automation like email, invoices, stock management
One of the best sales management system compared to SAP, MS Dynamics
If we are using odoo online hosting system, the cost is little bit high
If we can host the solution in our pwn server then this is good.
Also the recurring invoices on sale order level is not covered
The system solve the issue of manual sale order management in an excel
Also it provides feature to handle the product data, customer data
Also the automated workflow benefits us so that manual user errors can be resolved
I like how it boosts productivity and streamlines everything.
Nothing so far. it has been really helpful
I suggest you to use it if you are a client facing organization
Odoo Sales Module has helped us carry our customer relationships very efficiently
There are a lot of sub-categories in every category which narrows down to what one is exactly looking for
Don't have anything to add till now since i am pretty new to it
One platform for your needs
Learning about products and features in certain categories which i was not even aware of but have been performing really well
The user interface is straightforward to use. My absolute favorite feature is the product configurator. As a company that manufactures office cubicles, it is nice to have dropdowns for our sales staff to select the colors for each section of the office cubicle panel and not have them enter the colors by hand.
The products page can be a little slow to load mainly when you have products that have a large number of variations.
We are speeding up the time it takes for our sales staff to create estimates and invoices. While we have been able to speed up time to create these estimates our sales staff has also been able to cut down on errors while doing order entry.
Again, the best thing about odoo is its fully integrated modules, the sales module is by default connected to inventories and ERP.
The community version does not have accounting integration, although it can be achieved through third-party modules.
Previously we had been managing our sales and billing in separate systems, in addition, sales were manual, but with the odoo sales module and its integration by default with the electronic commerce and billing modules, it is now possible to automate our sales processes.
The sales app integrates seamlessly with the other Odoo apps such as Invoicing, Manufacturing, Inventory, Discuss, Contacts, Website, and eCommerce. In addition, there are nice add-ons such as the EasyPost app that allow you to process shipping from Odoo, saving a lot of time. Payment connections with Stripe or Authorize.net make processing transactions a breeze. You can send a quote to a customer with the Discuss app functionality without having to leave the quotation or use an external email. With the Website app, the customer can click the link in the email to find the quote on your website and pay it online, mitigating some PCI compliance risks. When the order is placed, the inventory item rules are followed to create the correct workflow. This may be a Request for Quote from your vendor for a drop-shipment or a regular shipment for stock. It may also be for a Manufacturing Order.
Refunds are difficult to process and required training by our accounting department in order to understand the required steps. Even though there are payment acquirer connections, refunds are not part of that integration. So the refund must be processed through the payment acquirer and then also in odoo. Another issue is that modifying forms is not as intuitive as other functions in Odoo. However, I have heard that this was addressed in v14.
As I write this review, we are nearly to the yearly Odoo experience, which occurs in late October or early November. If you are considering switching to Odoo, it may be worth it to wait until the next version is out to launch. I am using v13. There were a lot of bug fixes and an impressive amount of added functionality in v14. I expect v15 to be better yet. If you can't wait, upgrades are free, but a somewhat involved process.
Though there are many apps that need to be purchased to realize the full benefits of Odoo Sales, the pricing is quite reasonable for the functionality. We saved 40% over our previous ERP provider. I wish we had found Odoo a long time ago. Odoo has helped us to save a lot of time chasing orders and stocking requirements with the functionality that our previous ERP provider did not have.
The best thing I like about Odoo sales is that we can easily convert our quotations to sales orders and further sales orders to Invoices. It has a user-friendly flow.
Sometimes, glitches occurred while converting quotations to sales orders although rare but were discomfort.
We are trying to minimize quotations to sales orders to invoicing turnaround time by using the user-friendly flow of Odoo.
Using Sales module, the entire order to cash process can be mapped. It is useful.
There is not much dislike. It is better the delivery order part can be made more flexible.
This is a very good module for companies in the SME sector for managing sales.
Order to cash process.
Flexible, multi company environment, support, always online, multi user
since I have migrated in V13, maybe i would like to have th option to automatically have the delivery date in the first tab of the sale order
just give it a try for free and you will be convinced.
efficiency and multi user, less staff to do the accounting
