Take Control of Real Estate
Ease of Use, Great Customer Support, Centralized Lease Management, Improved Organization
Limited Customization Options, Lack of Seamless Integrations, Data Export Challenges, Inaccurate Data Abstraction
Occupier is praised for its user-friendly interface, strong customer support, and ability to centralize lease information, making it easier to track crucial dates, manage financials, and collaborate with teams. However, some users express frustration with data entry duplication, limited customization options, and a lack of robust search functionality. While the platform is generally well-received, users highlight the need for improved export capabilities, more robust data analysis features, and potentially, automated lease abstracting to further streamline operations.

That you can have everything in one place.
Well, it could be a little bit more organized.
It's one handy guide for everything. I can compare things easily.
Customer Service improved greatly when LeAnn Bannon became my go-to person.
Some things seem quirky; the layout and views could be improved.
As I learn more about Occupier, I am understanding how the Financials section can benefit us.
Occupier is a one-stop-shop platform to manage all of our lease-related information. I like how easy Occupier is to use. And their team is incredibly supportive, especially during implementation. Highly recommend it for anyone handling leases!
Nothing to dislike so far. Occupier works great for our portfolio.
Occupier houses our lease portfolio, helps keep us ASC 842 compliant, and organizes all of our data.
Occupier helps our team consilidate monotonous and in-depth leasing information into a concise and organized platform, allowing for efficiencies within our teams and our processes.
I would like it if I could leverage Occupier for all of my data storage uses.
Organization and time management. The software had benefited our teams in a way that allows them to utilize their functions more effiently.
I love the user defined interface that allows users to easily navigate the web based interface from anywhere. As well as the ease of gathering reports.
I personally have not ran into any thing I do not like about occupier.
Many, it takes serval programs and combines everything into one easy to use platform.
I like Occupiers update system and how you can make journal entries for each lease, easing the communication hurdle that exists across various lease management softwares. I also like the fact that our team can utilize the software frequently when doing team updates.
I dislike the fact that it seems difficult to export data out in API-like form. There is a lack of integration and it has proven difficult to conform to accounting standards mandated by our internal finance teams.
Try it out and see if it fits your company! It is very user friendly.
We are solving our Real Estate teams portfolio tracking issue, which is one source of truth to provide team members with a summary of our leasing portfolio. The benefits have been small for now as we are trialing the software, but seem great if it can be integrated into our internal tracking systems.
Reports and exports are very helpful. I use them on a monthly basis
Difficult to find properties if exact name isn't correct
Lease administration and file storage
The interface is easy and quick to use - great search bar where you can click on any element of a leased property (lease admin, lease accounting), drop down menus that quickly show key inputs to lease valuations. Good prompts for beginning lease-related account balances to import, more comprehensive than other tools I've seen.
There are just a few small things I'd change. One is that the lease name should auto-share between the 'lease admin' lease name and the 'lease accounting' lease name. Another is there should be some type of memo field to add notes. It would also be good to have some sort of summary reporting -- we found the need to keep a separate tracking spreadsheet for all our leases, and it would be nice to be able to create a report directly. And in an ideal world, there would be reminders you could set to ensure you've kept all data and attachments up to date (like monthly/quarterly/annually).
Occupier has helped serve as a master repository for lease documents, but it's only as good as the documents added by the company using the tool. It's great that everyone has access to lease info.
super user-friendly, and easy to implement...
don't really see any downsides... works for my purposes fine.
easy access to data
