Nutshell has become the backbone for our social media marketing agency. It allows for tracking of our leads and new sales; our clients and their communications, tasks, scheduled meetings, and communication logs; our monthly project management for each client; and helps to compile reports on the growth of our agency.
Even when using fields such as CURRENCY, Nutshell does not offer the ability for spreadsheets to provide totals for each column. This requires me to export the data as a spreadsheet in order to view certain sum totals.
Nutshell works as our CRM for customer information and communications across our team. Our team is able to work nimbly and everyone in the organization is able to help out when required due to this transparency. It also works well as our project management tool thanks to tasking and custom events that we utilize as a work order form.
I love how it's customizable and very easy to use. The customer support is amazing and they are beyond helpful whenever there is an issue, which is usually some user error. I use Nutshell daily and compared to other CRM systems it is much more user-friendly and customizable. They even have training videos and a chat feature to get assistance if needed. The videos are cheesy but in a funny way.
I have not found something major to dislike. A small annoyance would be the name Nutshell. Spell/grammar check always sends up a red flag.
We use it to track everything. If we didn't have Nutshell we would have a zillion spread sheets.
Really easy to get in touch with support. I have been able to build a CRM that makes sense for me and my buisness. I am able to use this everyday and with the app on the go. I am not the most tech savvy perosn, but uploading my contacts was easy and I had help from a Nutshell employee. It was very easy to integrate my email.
No matter the plan you can only send out 150 bulk emails.
Building a platform where no clients slip through the cracks
Love the support available through articles, staff and their support ticket system. Love that I can get with our "success stratgist" and discuss the way we use Nutshell and that we work together to form solutions and that feedback is forwarded on to the appropriate departments and followed up with in a timely maner.
Nothing comes to mind, there are things that don't always work the way we need them. However, we don't always use functions of the CRM how they are intended to be used so we understand it's a give and take and we're happy to work together to help develop our use of the system .

Nutshell is ready to use right from the start, with simple integration set-up, but is very flexible. I've been able to customize it to fit our business with mutliple pipelines and offerings. It's complex in it's functionality but simple to use. We use it all day every day.
As an Executive Search firm I've had to create a non-standard customization to have multiple contact types (employers & candidates). It would be a little easier to have that built in, but it works well.

I have used many CRM's over my sales career. I found that Nutshell is simple, yet powerful enough to help you be successful. It isn't overwhelming. I picked it up immediately without training and was able to use it from the first time I signed on.
Sometimes there is a delay when updates are made to bsuiness information. I sometimes have had to wait a couple hours for information to update. Not very often though.

The best thing about Nutshell is how easy it is to maneuver from one to another. I can easily look up contacts or a list of contacts in a quick and efficient way. I also love the email templates. The custom fields aspect has been also a valuable attribute that Nutshell offers.
I wish I could connect contacts. I'm not exactly sure the best way to do this, but I have many contacts that are spouses. Nutshell may also want to consider creating their own meeting scheduling tool like calendly or I use youcanbookme.com.

The scheduler is something we will use in the future once it's a bit more robust with connectivity and functionality. Otherwise there really isn't much we aren't able to do pretty easily.

Nutshell is a company made of truly empathetic and worried people. They'll be kind to you, try to understand you, and be candid and true. After using other providers like Hubspot, I can tell Nutshell is different. It is easy to set up, easier to use and has a strong customer support. I use it almost every day.
I still want a better experience in bulk personalized emails. There are still some features missing there.
