The Nucleus Automation Engine makes VM workflows seamless. You can "set and forget" your automation rules, and as new data comes in, they are triggered with no manual intervention required.
You can sync assets, ingest vulns, process assets/vulns, notify users and teams through tickets and reports, as well as remove/ignore assets, all automatically! The ability to use regular expressions makes it easy to find common and seemingly uncommon patterns within vulnerability and asset names, allowing you to assign items to different teams through the Automation Engine.
Without regex, dynamic variables, and the Automation Engine, most of these processes would be manual, which is why Nucleus is the best tool for the job.
Out of the box, Nucleus requires a fair amount of setup to create seamless VM workflows. My time spent in the PoC phase was spent learning the ins and outs of the tool, as well as figuring out if our asset/vuln data sources were compatible with Nucleus' connectors.
There are connections that are not compatible due to our companies configuration of certain tools.
Nucleus has helped out a lot with asset deduplication and parsing of data sources. This helps us ingest new data to our Projects, as well as identify assets that need cleaning up in our own tools.
Multiple ways to track the assets, compliance, VULS, risk factor, active VULS, top risks and trends. This help me on top of my application/infra VULS as a cyber ninja role.
Filters are troublesome and no way to save my filters to use in future.
Able to identify the VULS , issue with applications infra etc. and solutions provided
Vulnerability overview with different classifications.
Filtering by environment and project really helpful.
Interface is easy to work with without much training needed.
Template section to understand different vulnerabilities and CWSS score helpful.
Easy to download the Asset list to various formats like pdf, Excel or CSV. Viewing the details along the report is really handy.
Centralized view of vulnerabilities , compliance.
Integrated with SSO.
Though documentation is good but providing a university/academy classes to use the tool will be really helpful. Especially around customization of the report and integration with enterprise tools.
Preference section some minor enhancements to retain the filters and scope.
With Nucleus it is very easy to quickly get insights of the project and all the vulnerabilities. It's definitely a really handy tool.
Observability,Centralized view and details of vulnerabilities of assets. Dashboard with many out of the box filters helps to quickly generate report and get insights of all assets.
Risk score is really helpful in prioritizing the work load.
The descriptions and the solutions. Also, the steps for the solutions are very helpful.
Nothing to dislike everything works perfectly and nothing breaks.
There are multiple problemes that Nucleus is solving
1. Tracking and reporting of linux based applications
2. Log4j updates
3. SSH versions
4. SSL versions
5. java versions
The navigation is super easy and intuitive!
The ability to export. It doesn't seem to work every time. For big teams with lots of apps, it would be good to be able to pull the list into Excel.
Great application, highly recommend!
It helps us identify cyber risk vulnerabbilities quickly, and relatively painlessly
user friendly dashboard & easy way to schedule a report run
it would be better if Nucleus can allow customized 'product' selected and scheudled into a periodic report. Don't know how the risk point(score) been calculated.
To connect to our Azure VMs for Vulnerability check future
our Org use Nucleus to monitor the Vulnerability risk, which give us visual risk level(score) we are at.
Windows patch management navigation is excellent
the dashboard is not user friendly, need to improve the search bar &reporting format
useful for the security & patch management , vulnerability assessment
Easy to find missing updates and security patches.
A Great single source for all vulnerabilities, assets, and all associated data.
Nothing yet! well apart from taking work away from our tech team.
Giving us/our customers a single pane of glass from multiple sources of vulnerability information.
The fact that Nucleus unifies your vulnerability management, and brings all the data you need into a centralised location is a huge plus. This saves a lot of time for our analysts, as well as customers, to concentrate on real-time security and effective vulnerability management.
There are no real downsides from my perspective, apart from the fact that not more customers/analysts are taking advantage of this innovative, modern-day, scalable solution!
Achieving scalable vulnerability management, with time-savings being a huge benefit when it comes to remediation and analysis.

In today's application-centric business climate, there is a huge need to aggregate vulnerabilities from your entire organization, not just infrastructure. Nucleus gives you that ability and helps make sense of it all. Without it, you might be spending a lot of time and effort patching the wrong vulnerabilities wasting precious resources and leaving your company in jeopardy.
There is a requirement for security folks to understand the plans, goals and go-to-market strategies of the company they work for to fully understand the vulnerabilities of their organization. This can be a challenge for some folks to do before taking on a solution like Nucleus. This isn't a criticism of Nucleus but there is a step in the process to ensure you get the most out of the platform.
Vulns are everywhere! In your servers, desktops, tablets, phones, applications, SDLC...everywhere! It's easy to use Nucleus to pull all those vulnerabilities together and make sense of them. This gives you the ability to patch and remediate the issues that are really affecting your organization in a thoughtful manner and not just patching everything in site (which is impossible to do).
