User Friendly Interface, Powerful Search Functionality, Excellent Customer Support, Efficient Document Organization
Slow Processing Speeds, Limited Load File Compatibility, Complex Redaction Process, Lack of Advanced Features
Nextpoint's users frequently praise its user-friendly interface, ease of use, and intuitive design. The software's ability to streamline legal processes, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration is also highly regarded. However, some users have expressed concerns regarding the occasional occurrence of technical glitches and the need for more comprehensive training materials. Additionally, a few reviewers have mentioned that the software's reporting capabilities could be improved to provide more in-depth insights.

Nextpoint allows me to gather all discovery and organize it in the manner needed to prepare for trial. Its an all in one from review, bates, marking documents privileged or confidential and highlighting or redacting. Preparing for depos is much easier and even adding documents on the fly during a depo is possible with nextpoint.
When I send productions to other law firms, some find downloading the zip files difficult.
If you want to use a system for all of your files without a worry you will pay for each additional feature or GB then Nextpoint should be the solution you choose.
Reviewing tens of thousands of documents is not as daunting as it used to be and examining them to prepare for a depo is easier than the system we previously used. During Zoom depos the system lets me find and show documents I may not have thought needed and can introduce them seamlessly.
Nextpoint has very good analytics and is a very user friendly online review software than others I have worked with. Can customizes and group documents into easily viewable folders for keyword search results, user review groups, and document productions. Has nice data import/overlay field mapping interface too.
Takes longer than other hosting software products to import data since Nextpoint images all the files upon import instead of keeping them as native.
Ability to image Excels within software and redact Excels natively.
In my view, NextPoint's biggest strength is that it's user-friendly and intuitive, even for less technologically savvy users. We have users in our firm who have adapted well to NextPoint and found it to be very user-friendly. More importantly, the library of up-to-date articles on NextPoint's website provides clear, helpful troubleshooting instructions. On a few occasions, we have needed immediate support from NextPoint's support team. Every time, they have very responsive and have helped us resolve whatever issue we were facing. I have used other e-discovery and document review platforms, and I think NextPoint far exceeds them all.
I wish the "Theater Mode" for presenting exhibits would be more intuitive. While it's a great feature, it takes a lot of practice to learn. I wish there would be some way to share the screen with a more user-friendly interface for navigating exhibits within Theater Mode. Also, I wish NextPoint would have an app for iPads.
NextPoint offers an excellent solution for reviewing and producing large volumes of documents in litigation. It also offers a strong program for analyzing deposition transcripts and videos.
Very user friendly and intuitive! I love that I can search just like in Google and limit my searches to certain file types
I wish it had a feature where I could group certain highlighted documents
It's helping us get exhibits for trial ready so much faster
The software is very intuitive and easy to use. It does a great job with native files, especially emails (extracting the metadata and converting the emails to PDF without inserting weird characters for apostrophes or other common marks). I love how it is customizable for each case. The support team is always responsive any time I need assistance.
Whenever I import searchable PDFs for review and bates numbering, the exported PDFs are no longer searchable. Yes, you can export a text file with them, but not every law firm or expert witness (or whoever I'm sending documents to) uses software to marry the image and text files.
As a paralegal, I use Nextpoint to review and prepare documents for production and to review and code records produced by other parties. It's a great way to keep everything organized and isolate the relevant documents by issue.
NextPoint is the most user-friendly and easy-to-use eDiscovery software on the market while offering all the features of the most advanced and complex programs. Rarely when we run into an issue, NextPoint is easy to get in contact with to resolve any issues. NextPoint is also one of the few eDiscovery programs on the market that allow us to tailor our billing and invoices by matter. The ability to collaborate with experts, co-counsel, clients, etc. on NextPoint is incredible. The intuitive feel of NextPoint makes it a readily available tool for our firm.
NextPoint does not currently have a predictive coding feature. This feature would significantly reduce review times and has become a standard feature of eDiscovery in today's legal world. Other than this one request, I'm overall a very happy NextPoint customer and highly recommend it to any size firm around the country.
We primarily utilize NextPoint for eDiscovery. Compared to the prior programs, NextPoint is significantly more user-friendly and straightforward. We save a significant amount of time using NextPoint for productions and document reviews that we previously would have. We have not taken advantage of the trial and litigation features yet.
It has a clean and straightforward appearance, so it is easy to find things, but the support and willingness to listen to customer suggestions is incomparable.
I know they are working on making the tools easier to use when working within a document, which I am looking forward to very much.
We are organizing large volumes of documents, which makes them easier to search and more likely to find critical information quicker.
I like the simplicity of the eDiscovery workflow as implemented in Nextpoint, but we can keep a full back-up of our document productions in the Nextpoint file room for peace of mind as well.
I've noticed an infrequent (and always temporary) latency between when an import is reported as completing successfully and when in-document search results are available. I think this is because an index gets updated after the actual import is completed, but this is hardly a mission-kill issue.
We didn't have a unified eDiscovery platform before we implemented Nextpoint; now we do. My colleagues are very pleased with the results I can provide them thanks to Nextpoint.
The review tools allow a single user to quickly review, assess, and produce tens of thousands of emails or documents.
The import tool for ranged productions can be tricky.
If your document review and production needs consist of lots of emails or other files, NextPoint is a huge time saver.
Instead of manually converting .msg or .pst files, NextPoint has allowed us to dump the documents into a single repository for review and production. This has saved countless hours of associate and paralegal time.

I liked being able to bulk code. Often there are documents that are not relevant to the project but take up a huge part of the folders. I appreciate being able to code those documents and move on without additional resources taking up time going through those documents. Another good aspect of Nextpoint is the customer focus approach. I have never had an e-discovery software company spend so much time making sure I was comfortable with the product.
I am not sure there is a downside to using Nextpoint. Likely, I would say that having more access to self-pace learning videos would be helpful. There are times when you want to be able to learn more about a platform on my own time.
Identifying mass documents for litigation. Nextpoint allows for flexible document review workflow to happen. The visualization graphics for your databased statistics are so innovative.
