"Cloud Hosting without the complication"
What do you like best about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

CloudJumper's offering allows both my technical and not-so-technical clients to ditch their self-hosted servers (and the IT responsibilities that come with them!) and transition to a hosted platform with ease.

They demystify the CLOUD for customers who just want someone else to take care of the technical details so they can get on with their own work.

Their customer service is second to none. When a customer has a problem, it's treated as a high-priority and resolved ASAP.

What do you dislike about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

They sometimes use self-coined terms to refer to their various offerings/packages and that can be a little confusing.

What problems is NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

I deliver GoldMine CRM solutions for clients. GoldMine is an on-premises solution. That generally requires my customers to purchase their own server hardware, windows licenses, SQL licenses, backup tools, etc just to get started. In addition to the GoldMine licensing, this can present a budgetary hurdle for smaller clients without existing infrastructure.

CloudJumpers strategic partnership with Ivanti/GoldMine, means that I can also offer a hosted solution for those customers who might be geographically spread-out, in start-up mode, or otherwise unable to support that sort of infrastructure themselves. It's been a game-changer.

What do you dislike about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

I wish they had local data stores in UK, Australia so we could expand.

Recommendations to others considering NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service:

look at running more than one app for ease of access and better integration.

What problems is NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allowing our clients who have data and training on GoldMine to transfer to an enterprise class hosting platform,

"Cloudjumper's automation engine streamlines multi-tenant hosting virtualization efficiently"
What do you like best about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

Cloudjumper has built a vendor-agnostic system that works across virtualization platforms, hosts, requirements, and can be managed from techs with low skills to custom management. The permissions are sufficiently granular that the platform itself can also be passed as a service to give the customer with their own in-house staff access to their own automation.

Cloudjumper's support has been on point, and highly responsive to both routine support requests and emergency situations.

What do you dislike about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

Cloudjumper has been ambitious in the breadth of their compatibility, so sometimes it may take a bit for the automation engine to catch up to the latest updates to a virtualization host that changes their API, but they do a good job of responding in real time to such events.

You do still need to understand the specific virtualization and systems to leverage Cloudjumper;s cloud workspace engine, but it simplifies much of the back-end and operational structures.

What problems is NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cloudjumper has allowed us to scale across industries and verticals, and provide virtualization platforms and payment methodologies that match individual company compliancies or corporate requirements.

We have been able to use the Cloud Workspace Suite to scale a single support methodology from SMB to enterprise across industries and business models profitably, and affordably to the customer.

"Excellent Customer Service w/ Fast Turnaround TImes"
What do you like best about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

My account rep for Cloud Jumper, Kelly Soto, was fantastic. She's one of those people who at least appears to be working all the time, and she was always there for me if I needed to accelerate something faster than standard turnaround times.

What do you dislike about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

The trade-off of "control" you have when you use a WAAS (or "DAAS") service. That has nothing to do with CloudJumper, specifically, it's just the name of the game. You give up control for extra security and for somebody else to manage the workspace. Ultimately, it was critical to my vision for my company that we be able to video chat with one another within our workspace, and WAAS, including Cloujdjumper, just doesn't support that.

Recommendations to others considering NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service:

There are many good reasons to use Cloudjumper. If you're a small company without the cash or credit for "personal" computers for each of your employees, or if you have multiple people using the same computer (think shift-work) then Cloudjumper is perfect. Amazingly, I somehow almost made it through this whole review without saying "work anywhere from any device," and that's really the best thing about CloudJumper.

If you absolutely need video conferencing, and you don't want your employees to do video conferencing "locally" and the rest of the work on CloudJumper, then it's not the solution for you. If you want ultimate control over your working environment, then CloudJumper isn't for you. For most companies, however, I think it's an awesome solution.

What problems is NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

CloudJumper's primary benefits are a good, fast, almost "seamless" working experience. It was really rare that I could actually "tell" that I wasn't working on a local machine, and, though that's less magical in 2018 than it used to be, it's still really cool.

"Exception Customer Service"
What do you like best about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

Stable Platform with amazing customer service staff.

The management console is straight forward with almost all pertinent information residing on the dashboard with very fast loading time.

What do you dislike about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

The monthly invoice breakdown at first was difficult to understand.

Recommendations to others considering NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service:

Make sure you have a well thought out migration plan and consider how to properly virtualize/interface all of your I/O devices (printers, scanners, signing pads, camera, etc.). Also, make sure to fully test usability and updating of all critical software's on a test RDS platform if possible.

What problems is NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

Redundancy / management costs, managed growth / IT scale, and ease of access.

We have been working with multiple vendors on Cloud Workspace for several years now. Cloud Jumper has proven to be a real asset for our complete managed turn-key solutions and will potentially enable us to be more profitable while actually delivering better support to our clients.

"Great Fully Managed Solution for MSPs"
What do you like best about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

Channel only partner, month to month and no long term contracts, ease of use, ease of deployment, CloudJumper provides level 2 support, profit margins are excellent, great team to work with to build your cloud business.

What do you dislike about NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service?

The partner portal and quoting tool could be organized better. Not really a dislike just a suggestions as the tools work well.

Recommendations to others considering NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service:

You need to review the CloudJumper offering even if you are already using another provider, it is worth your time. If you haven't selected a partner yet, I can't encourage you enough to contact CloudJumper.

What problems is NetApp's Virtual Desktop Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

Structured IT environment where security and compliance are the biggest issues solved, removing small and medium sized businesses off the software and hardware upgrade expense, added efficiency and effectiveness for all sized businesses.
