What do you like best about Neon CRM?

From our implementation on, Neon has been a wonderful platform at an affordable price.

Ongoing customer service can be hard to reach.

What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Neon we had multiple Excel spreadsheets so it was difficult to compile donor information. With Neon, that organization has been simplified.

"Extremely Organized and Efficient Onboarding Process"
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

Our organization has recently begun the onboarding process with Neon CRM and I have been so exceedingly impressed by how organized and efficient the entire process has been. From day one, the employee who walked us through the demo was wonderful to work with and extremely knowledgeable. We had a lot of questions, and she was patient and looked into answers for us. We're now in the onboarding stage and this is also going very smoothly. Training is easy and everything is outlined in a very organized manner so it's easy to look at an overall status of several team members' implementation. Very satisfied so far!

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

We haven't fully implemented the database yet so I don't have anything negative to say. We are, however, interested in a grant tracking tool as the grantor (currently there's only a tracking tool for grantees). We have figured out how to make it work for us, but would love some more development in that area since we are both a grantee and grantor.

What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Previously, all of our data was stored in Excel files, handwritten notes, emails, Google drive, etc. This is a tool to compile all of that information in a very accessible way. We are also a fully remote team and this is a great tool for us to stay in communication about specific tasks.

What do you like best about Neon CRM?

The customer service during our initial training phase was very benefical. Staff took the time to learn about our needs, goals and budget for this product. Once set up, we are now able to easily gather and analyze important donor data and statistics to help us with our fundraising goals.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

As a small NPO we are very budget consience and increasing costs of NEON and CRM's in general weigh heavily on our decisions to keep it or to use other platforms. We also with there were more options for troubleshooting when problems or questions arise.

What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Donor history and understanding who is giving to our organiation and when. This helps us plan campaigns and target the right people with the right marketing material.

"User friendly with great customer service"
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

Coming from an outdated desktop crm, access to Neon CRM online has been great for our nonprofit. We've found it to be very user friendly, and when we run into questions they've been quick to answer. I particularly like the timesaving aspect of system letters for our thank yous, and being able to easily track our campaigns is great.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

The reports can take some time to learn, but being able to email with customer support has always been helpful. I wish integration with Arts People was a little better, and wish Arts People in general was as user friendly as Neon CRM.

What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our organization has been able to easily access our donor information from any work location, and has helped to streamline workflow, saving us a lot of time and headache.

Neon is extremely helpful for our organization because it enables us to organize our information, pull clean reports, and keeps our data in one place.

There is a lot that Neon can do - which means there is a lot to learn. It has been a slow process getting our team to be familiar with the many functions.

It is helping us keep our donors and event participants in the same database so that we can strategize and track how we convert participants to donors and vice versa.

What do you like best about Neon CRM?

We combined three databases from Excel and Access software into one CRM. This ability to see donors, program recipients, and prospects all in one dataabase is priceless! The data access is intutitive even for board members who do not have data base management experience.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

The conversion time was extensive and involved several staff and board members for data cleaning efforts.

What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Neon CRM allows us to combine donor, students, and prospect database. This helps us see relationships that were not evident when each constituency had their own database.

What do you like best about Neon CRM?

Very user friendly - syncs with Quickbooks and has everything we need.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

I wish we could embed their donate forms.

What problems is Neon CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our top problem we had was the ability to sync our donations through Quickbooks. Reporting is so simple. We use Neon for all of our fundraising and emails for fundraising appeals. We have a great grasp of everything we do in the system because of ease of use. We came to Neon from Blackbaud, it was a breath of fresh air. We had Blackbaud for 3 years and still had data to clean up, and we still didn't master how to use the system efficiently.

Flat fee for unlimited users. Tiered pricing model so only pay for what we need.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

We don't own or develop the software so we are at the mercy of Neon for feature updates or bug fixes. Not as Web 2.0 friendly in certain features.

Data is always available with an internet connection. Ease of updating data on any web enable device - computer, laptop, phone, tablet, etc.
