It is helpful especially on server backup, we set up a notification which helps us to detect of there are failed back up
So far it has been working well woth us and our clients
Data loss
I like the compression protocol of Cove Backup that is very efficient and advantage to have cloud storage space included. Also it is very easy to use and with a fast guideline.
In the latest version I dislike anithing of Code Data Protection.
I recommend SolarWinds Backup because it has a very effeicient compression method.
IT is an efficient cloud Backup for all situation. Local backup are good for standalone machine (or Vm with guest installation) for backup wiithout problem of crash consistent state. It has a efficient compression method that helps with low band internet lines.
Easy to deploy, easy to monitor, easy to maintain
Lack of ability to backup Google Workspace
having a simple to deploy solution that allows us to monitor deployments
It's so easy to setup and configure that tou forget about it
Sharepoint licensing needs some love. All sharepoint users are automatically licensed so you cannot individually pick protected users
End to end backup service without infrastructure requirements
Cove has a perfect blend of features that makes it a great value. We have standardized our backup offering to use Cove.
There is an issue with it not respecting M365 retention policies & keeping email backups longer than our policy. They are aware of the issue & are addressing it.
Backup servers & M365
It is 100% cloud first and eliminates any need to have local storage, although it also allows you add local storage for faster recovery. It is also fully integrated with N-Able RMM which allows us to monitor everything from a single place.
If nor using standalone version, access to some features is limited. However they are addressing it already.
Providing all backup and disaster recovery services we offer to out clients.
It is straight forward to roll out and a great product overall. One of my favourite products n-able offer as it is a simple but a very affective and necessary product to have as part of our managed services packages.
I have had no issues with Cove so far. Everything has been great and simple use. I have no dislikes about this product so far and nothing I would improve as of yet.
Simplifying our way of backing up, reducing our work time and ensuring all data is protected and secure in case of a disaster. Overall a great product for us
It covers all the services we need to protect on behalf of our customers, not only all in a single dashboard but presented in a way that makes it very clear to see where potential problems and patterns of failure are. On the rare occasion we've needed them, the support is really excellent.
The timing of backup reports by email is an issue for us, particularly for customers who receive the reports direct. Sometimes the reports are sent before the backup window closes, so at 6am some of our backups are just about completing, so it generates a call to us to confirm whether the backup is working.
We are seeing a massive increase in compliance requirements and having a clear, easily priced product that ticks those compliance boxes for our customers is fantastic. It's an easy sell, very simple to look after, and we make a sensible markup on the product so it saves us time and makes us a bit of money at the same time.
Deduplication and true delta. Really fast and reliable
Reports and can't export to pdf the m365 infos
