I would like to shed some light on Ashley Gentry
I would like to shed some light on Ashley G. She has been communicating, answering and just a breath of fresh air when it came to renting and moving out of our rental property . I never got the sense that I was bothering her and opposed or a few other people i have spoken to , She has given me faith that good property managers are still out there and a possible chance to renting another rental in the future using Mynd. Ashley that you for caring and excelling at your position!

When we moved in we had a huge list of…
When we moved in we had a huge list of things that we cleaned fixed abd the whole house smelled of marijuana. We planted a whole new backyard since there was no grass to begin with and recleaned the whole house. Fast forward 3 years on our move out we were charged over $550 for landscape cleaning, $300 for cleaning of the house even though we did a huge deep clean before we left. Not super pleased with how much work we did to maintain the area and then having all these huge charges for things we did to improve the property.

MYND-CHEATERS- BE WARE- ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE
I wish I could give them a thousand negative stars for the horrible service they provided us and the countless lies that they told us.
Sep 2023: Dylan Cambareri, regional account manager promised absolute great service and go us to onboard with them. He told us that Mynd is absolute best in the property management market, that was the biggest lie, you all are a HUGE SCAMMING COMPANY. Enter Katie Terzynski- the first property manager we were assigned, who had no clue absolutely zero clue on how to do anything, she lied to us that they have told the current renters about the new company taking over and that they will be using Mynd portal for rent and other items, THERE WAS NO RENTERS IN MY PROPERTY, WE TOLD THEM THAT RIGHT OFF THE BAT! After many horrible communications, one day I get an email that we have a new property manager by the name of Kim Cordero and we had to restart our conversations, explain to her what had happened and she apologized for Katie's lack of follow and no rental income due to nothing being done to our property, she credited us 1 months rent, we thought okay we can work with her, she was to get an assessment of our home to see what we need to do to get it on the market, she then lacked communications, the delays were more than one should have to handle, and we lost another month, All this from Sep- Nov 2023, Come Dec 2023, we were once again out of nowhere told that Kim is no longer going to be our manager and that JO TAYLOR is going to be our prop. mgr now! We were going nuts by now, 3 prop managers in mere 4 months since the onboarding. Initially she sounded promising but then when it came to actual action same thing delays after delays, she provided us the initial assessment and to our horror our previous renters had destroyed our house, inside, outside, pool everything, its costing us 100k and more to fix our beloved home. Being out of state, property manager take advantage of us. She now at this point was adamant that their policy is that the house needs to be fixed completely by Mynd or I completely take over, they charge thousands of dollars to arrange with their contracted company- LESSEN THAT IS AS BAD AS MYND! They gave us invoice of 50 K and told us so many things that needed to be fixed, I spent few thousands in getting trash out etc, but then being out of state, I did something I should have not, I TRUSTED JO, what a big mistake. I should have known better, she is not thinking of the owners but just Mynd, she got the first $25 K worth started but it took her months to get that finished- even though she said it will be done as soon as I pay them - LIE. Now these delays and no rental income, Mynd kept charging us monthly fees. But failed to take care of the home, we got HOA violation fees - that they did not pay even though they did not take care of the house, they did not send me the pool pic, which was absolutely destroyed, The house looked like jungle, fence broken - and yes the previous prop mgmt company were negligent and that is why we moved to Mynd. But they were equally scamming. HOA kept fining us and Mynd kept taking its sweet time with lack or delay of communications.
Come to find out LESSEN the contracting company that MYND contracted with, did not complete the work they said that they did, they charged $25K for first half of the work and my new vendor reported at least 10K worth of work has not been completed and the invoice is not clear and some items were charged double. And, when I asked Jo to talk to Lessen as they contracted with them and also charged us additional for arranging that, she said, no that they are no longer our property management company and that I have to talk to Lessen and that the work was completed, she swore up and down that the work was completed. They would not provide me with the contracted company's licensing number for plumber, mold remediation etc...her supervisor MELANIE is absolutely rude and dismissive, she should take course on customer relations. She spent barely 15 minutes on a call and just said 2 lines that they will not help us indirectly. When Jo provided me with Lessen's info- Joseph Miranda, The person who oversaw our property work, the email is bouncing back?! Phone number does not work - this is Oct 2024 now and my house still needs the work done that was lied to us that it was done and there is no help from MYND. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM- THEY DO NOT WORK HELP BUT LIE, CHEAT AND
DECIEVE US.
I am being scammed financially and emotionally by MYND. YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR WORK ETHIC - STOP CHEATING INNOCENT PEOPLE AND LYING.

I just wanted to get my home fixed and rented- and work with people who have high work ethics and not lie or cheat. It has been more than 1 year now- I am facing great financial difficulties due to what I had to encounter- bad tenants, and worse prop managers that promise they will take care of my property but did not

I wish there was minus star rating - MYND is the worst rental property management company. They do not take any responsibility.
They have excuses for everything. Their response is tenant did not pay after our follow ups and emails and calls so it not our fault. Why are we paying them.
They do not even bother to do Moving out Inspection. Since I am not continuing to rent with them they do not care about me and my property . Tenant left the property messy. WORST EXPERIENCE -NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS BUYING AND RENTING PROPERTY WITH MYND. Horrible experience .

Bad service- Do not let them manage our property
I posted my review Sept 5th 2024 to which they responded 5 days later their usual "We are sorry to hear about your experience...... and a team member will be reaching out to you directly to discuss your feedback " But I have not heard back from anyone yet.
I did talk and email with some other manger who confirmed Mynd made a mistake but they are not willing to take any action to correct it. They are waiting to see if they can approve the monthly management fee of $119 to be credited back - but that will not be enough to cover the $1675 they neglected to collect.
This company has the worst customer service I have ever had.

This a scam company that only wants to get your money how can you pay your application fee and then 5 minutes later you are denied I will give it to them they have lot of game I should have listen to one of their client when he told me not to trust them. lesson learned run from mynd crook.

Run! Not worth your time or money
Onboarding as an owner 2 years ago was a pain and processing out now is even worse. Customer service is one of the worst I have ever experienced and when I kept asking to talk to someone else or the supervisor was told I cant and have to keep dealing with the same individual. Was told or promised certain things while onboarding to be told later they can no longer honor it. Had few incidents where their vender was suppose to come to one of the units but never show (tenants actually called me to let me know). They could not even figure our how to go about requesting a new mail key form the local post office- I had to do it myself. Was charged ridiculous amount of money to change 2 locks when one was not even replaced. Now that we are in our 30 days notice to discontinue service they will not do anything they were suppose to do while in contract and offer to help me for 100$ an hour - They are a joke. I should have left them long ago but was hoping things will get better - 2.5 years later still the same disappointment as day one. I know I have probably lost a couple thousand dollars because of them, but I cant wait to move on from them.
