Love this chat software add-on
Love this chat software add-on. I have had no problems that others are describing and it was easy to install ... I use it during business hours everyday to communicate with customers interested in buying or following up on orders.

I love this for my small business
The software is easy to use. I combine it with the google analytics map. It allows me to connect with my customers immediately and get sales that I'd otherwise would have lost.

"Mylivechat is an efficient support agent-customer communication application"
What do you like best?

Mylivechat offers fast communication, saving the time site support agent could have used to email, call or to contact the client through other means, which most of the times are costly and time consuming. This is is the feature that I found interesting and I like the best. Mylivechat also has free version that allows the new users to try it for free before switching to the premium one. The free version offers the basic functions that would allow the user to meet the communication needs.

What do you dislike?

Mylivechat is a useful application, but it comes with many drawbacks. Firstly, the application keeps lagging and often it fails to monitor the site, meaning the user will not know how many clients are online. The previous conversation messages also keeps popping up, and when this happens the ongoing conversation will be interfered with and the client may get annoyed and leave without making a purchase. Mylivechat also has a mobile which has never functioned in my case. These are some of the issues that forced me to switch to another application.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Mylivechat is good application for communicating with the clients. It offers real time communication, it is less costly and time saving.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Currently, I am not using Mylivechat after I got disappointed after several cases of dissatisfaction. Nevertheless, I must admit that the application was very useful in easing the communication between the customer and the site support agent. It offers real time communication and allows the clients to share with the support agents how they would like their services or products to be delivered. I have never cancelled my account with Mylivechat as indicated in the screenshot I have uploaded below.

No Training or Support, Rude Customer Service
If I could give this company zero stars, I would. We have new team members that need training on the platform, and they've told us that they do not provide any training. How is that possible? You definitely have a sales team that walks people through it in order to get them to buy it, so how is there NO ONE that can help us? Their "customer support" avoids questions, directs you to email a manager named Adam (no last name, no phone number, who doesn't reply to repeated emails), and insists that this is all they can do because they don't provide phone support—so, as the customer, you're just s*** out of luck. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. There are plenty of other chat options out there, and we're shopping for a new one now.

Zero stars anyone
Zero stars anyone? I tried multiple times to get through to a person at multiple times though out the day and got absolutely no response. Waited as long as 45 minutes! (insert sound of crickets here). Not sure this business is still in business.

Unstable
In the middle of chat sessions with customers, we would get messages like " MyLiveChat has stopped working" or "Connection to the chat server failed. Trying to reconnect" or “Cannot Connect to the chat server”. We would basically be forced to close down and try to reopen. Reopening would have it's own set of problems - requiring us to download again. Totally losing our chat sessions (imagine how upset this would make our customers).If you are going to give them a shot, I recommend going month by month instead of paying for months in advance. We paid for 6 months in advance and realized after the 1st real test run that it wasn’t stable enough to use with real customers and they wouldn’t refund us (even for the unused time). They insist that all the network issues were on our end (although we had top notch IT staff helping us troubleshoot and everything else running through our network was perfect). I’ve written several emails and contacted their chat several times with no response & no refund yet. We did find another software that isn’t too expensive and it’s worked wonderful so far.
