My ether wallet wallet is an online tool that helps users with their ethereum needs. The best part is it is not only free but also open source, which guarantees peace of mind about our ethereum funds being secure. My ether wallet also has access to ethereum test networks like Ropsten. When I build ethereum apps this comes in handy while interacting with the block chain.

My etherwallet is not geared towards non technical users, I understand the rationale behind this. It is hard to use to ensure that security is not compromised at any stage for convenience.

Nothing can beat hardware wallets in terms of security and if you wish to be extra careful with your funds do not go with my there wallet

Developers need to enhance the wallet to support all ERC-20 tokens

MyEtherWallet needs to mature but that is something that will come with time. Some what difficult with the current state of the crypto market.

We used MyEtherWallet to store some of the companies assets and keep them safe, but then moved to cold storage

The fact that a wallet owner has various options with which he/she can access his/her wallet amongst which are:

software: private key, keystore file, Pnemonic phrase

Hardware: Ledger wallet, Trezor , Keepkey , Digital keepbox

I also like the fact that one can receive any ERC 20 compatible digital currency with is MyEtherwallet.

The fact that there is no form of identification required to hinder scam attempt or wihthdrawal. Proivided you have say the private key you can access the MEW and make withdrawals.

This is not so fine.

MEW is a good ERC 20 wallet, easy to use and highly recommended

However, be careful with your private key or keystore file, dont give this away to scammers using phishing

For me i simply use it to trade cryptocurrency.

I think this is amazing platform and provide what you actually need. The best thing its shows coins on the app. The user interface is awesome.

I some time face issue with options to add custom tokens add section.

We have to send custom tokens and this app or platform has made our work easy by creating this software. its user friendly and also easy to use.

MyEtherWallet, is free and easy to get the hang of, and its nice to have the peace of mind that I am the only one who has access to my coins.

The Chrome extension had an update at one point that made things a little confusing, but this was quickly resolved, and I have not had any other problems since.

Keep a physical (handwritten) copy of the private key and the password somewhere safe, I've been told that if you lose the key or password, there is no way to recover the account, because you are the only one given access to it.
