We have been using MSP products for about 5 years and have switched over to Online Backup about 3 years ago. So software is wonderfull. It's simpel to use yet combines all the features we need as an MSP to run backup solutions for our clients. Some of the best features are easy deployment, and backup monitoring. The admin dashboard is fantastic.
There is nohing that I think of that I dislike about the product.
For us as an MSP is to be able to provide a backup service for our clients that is not to overly complicated and can be easily deployed, moinitored and restored. MSP360 is perfect for this. From restoring full server images to single files the software just works. The support is quite good as well and the team is always responsive when issues arise.
Ease of use and amount of features packed into the product.
On Premesis client and Web Client for configuring often have different fields and terminology, wish that was more unified between the two platforms for documentation standardization.
It provides a low cost, high margin, solid backup product, rich with features for safely and securly backing up our clients critical data. Offers plenty of flexability to backup to multiple storage organizations.
Its mix with different providers such as for example AWS, Azure and local network equipment. The deck additionally is where we can observe the work of every one of the termination points, servers, and so forth and in case the backup is found or not. There was a lot of infrastructure inside and we felt like taking a complement for different objects. This involved in infrastructure works in the form of AWS, Azure and additionally on-premises. With Msp360, we were able to amalgamate all three environments with a single instrument and table. This dashboard gives higher-level information about various different endpoints, in the event the backup is or isn't performed, in addition to the kind of information. The procedure for making policies within MSP360 is straightforward and was quite helpful.
They don't have a headquarters in India, so in-person conversation is not possible in order to be able to understand each other better. Due to its mix with different sources of information, it may be costly.
The experience is really comfortable at the moment thinking about its mix with different providers/universe. We were able to mix it with Azure service, AWS service and our in-house facilities, through a combined picture we can see the whole infrastructure and things that work and things that don't work.
I love the reporting and alerting on MSP360, as it allows you to know exactly when backups succeeded or if any are unsuccessful. Reviewing the conveniently emailed daily backup report summary has become a part of of our daily routine.
Luckily I have yet to find any disadvantages or dislikes with the product. It is both easy to implement and use and due to such reasoning, I'm unable to find any shortcomings.
MSP360 allows us to easily get our data into our cloud storage and allows us to create backup jobs on new servers with ease. The ability to restore files and folders with the restore plans has saved us numerous times.
We've used MSP360 backup for about 8 years, starting back when it was Cloudberry. It's got better and better over the years to become a really comprehensive backup solution for all our business customers but especially for the ones with specialist needs.
Tbh not very much, the support has got better over time, the errors are pretty good.
We use MSP 360 managed backup generally, but we particularly use it for medical customers who need secure backups for very large amounts of data. MSP360 lets us tier storage and take advantage of lower cost cold storage in these situations.
I was using Backblaze for my personal computers, but they didn't provide backup for servers unless you were using a third-party tool such as Cloudberry. I've used Cloudberry in the past and liked it, so I went in that direction for my clients. This was around the time that Cloudberry was rebranding itself as MSP360.
At first, I was going only to use Cloudberry, but I like how MSP360 is a central place to manage my clients. Plus, the monthly fee is more attractive than most backup solutions.
I've used MSP360 a couple of years and like it. I really like being able to Restore 2 Cloud for testing backups as well.
I had a few hiccups when they changed from Cloudberry to MSP360 but have had no issues since then. Everything runs great.
Low-cost backup solution for my clients with a central interface that I can manage everything. I'm able to manage my client's backups within one place, and I always know what is going on with them.
Implementation is straightforward, and the platform is easy to use. Local and cloud backup storage is also very helpful when doing image-based backups.
Pricing initially was a bit confusing given the subscription cost plus the AWS aspect. I think including a base AWS storage cost in the subscription would be simpler.
I needed a cost effective solution for image based and file backups that worked on Windows, Mac and Windows Server environments. MSP 360 gave me that.
We tried this after years of StorageCraft and decided to flip. Excellent MGMT and reporting. Flawless backup and recovery. Forever forward Incremental works great with managing our s3 storage.
There is not much i can dislike. We do get some errors from time to ttime when reviewing backups. Tech support is usually pretty good at resolving after a quick email
We know wwe have good backups in case of disaster recovery and we can even quickly create a VM from the backup fil.
The simple setup and amazingly smooth setup experience, from backup setup, to licensing, to management. The user experience from end user to mangement is amazing.
The only downsides I have had is false reports of failed backups, and issues with backup scheduling conflicting with maintenance scheduled of MSP 360.
MSP360 is helping us make sure our clients have good, visible comprehensive backups in the cloud and locally. We are more easily able to see what backups need attention and what dont.

Compared to many other solutions this is super easy to configure new storage, S3 with my environment. The software solution helped my to get all settings right. It proved to be super reliable for backup and restore testing with 100% success. Restore testing also proved how easy navigation is from backup or restore plan to individual backup and restore logs. I'm very glad I found this solution.
To be honest, there is NO negative point!
MSP360 solved how to backup our cloud storage. Without we had just the cloud storage, but we wanted to make it safer, meaning having another (or some) copy of the data. We benefit from a solution we could easily administer and also test with a succesful restore test, showing that in case of desaster the solution would really help.
