Great, but reports are so-so.

PROS: Two things that I like about this program: its clean layout and reliable data support.

CONS: The templates for reports are pretty much fixed. Customizing them is a tall order.

The reports are great!

PROS: First of all, MRI has a really solid team of experts to help its users out in case of issues. I love how I'm given the option either to call them or to simply file a ticket online. They're responsive and polite--two characteristics I always look for in customer reps. The data that MRI provides as a way for us to gain insight into the efficiency of our workflow is useful too.

CONS: Some tools need to be modified. For example, the system lags whenever I attempt to print out items from it.

Not the best support crew.

PROS: This provides us the best support for our field of work. It can be configured according to our needs as well.

CONS: They don't have the most responsive team. It takes a ridiculously long time to get a hold of them. And even then, it takes even longer for them to resolve the issues that we need help with. It's frustrating, to be honest.

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Consistent and easy to use--these are my first impressions of MRI. The design is very neat and I love how I don't have to second-guess the function of specific buttons. It's all straightforward and easy to learn. My experience has been consistently pleasant. The flow of the design makes sense, unlike other program interfaces that look cluttered. If I need to retrieve data about our tenants, I can easily do so. It even itemizes all of the requests or issues that they have logged. When it comes to documentation, this program is the best.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I have a pretty good background on a similar program called Yardi, so most of my observations will be based on a comparison of the two. First of all, compared to Yardi, I think that MRI has an older-looking interface. I guess this is the price of consistency. It can get quite heavy to use after a while too. I hate how this program makes it necessary for me to open so many tabs. The details it asks from me can be repetitive as well. Invoices can't be fired off directly from MRI too. I'd have to tap into an external solution to be able to do so. Some steps can be quite tedious, to be honest.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Despite the issues I have listed above, this program is still the best match for our needs as a company in the real estate field. We can easily do our accounting in this program. It has given us great insights that we would otherwise have missed. Whenever we need to bill our tenants for some offense or another, we can easily add up the damages to the invoices that we send them. We've also been able to secure certain areas of the program and restrict access to them. This way, only the concerned parties can see the information--it's safer this way.

A perfect 5 if a few tweaks will be implemented

PROS: I did not have much trouble learning the ins and outs of this program. Its storage capabilities are pretty solid too.

CONS: The design seems a little intimidating at first. It would be appreciated if they update it so it looks more modern.
