mParticle's robust data integration and management capabilities make it stand out. Its ability to collect, unify, and activate data across various platforms enables seamless customer insights and personalized experiences, driving unparalleled value for businesse
I dislike mParticle's inconsistent connection setups, unreliable UI for events for customers, and lack of ability to link data with other non-customer related data.
mParticle is solving the problem of data fragmentation in the mobile marketing ecosystem. By providing a single platform for collecting, storing, and activating customer data, mParticle is helping businesses to:
Extremely flexible event logging with arbitrary number of event attributes.
Would like more flexibility in setting up the heirarchy of multiple workspaces.
Detailed event logging and customer segmentation.
mParticle is allowing us to drive massive changes in our business, whilst also helping us unify our tech stack. By having mParticle deployed across multiple brands, we immediately have a unified schema which we can draw understanding from. This is feeding into all understanding of customer flow, as we are now able to compare user events from various brands and have parity.
Additionally, we've been able to use mParticle as the standard method of delivering data to endpoints across the business. Championing this means we have to unify our data schema, and ensure that all data is delivered in a uniform way to platforms. Not only does this help deliver projects on time, it means we are able to quickly identify base requirements, and approach how we deliver them in a uniform fashion
Finally, mParticle's approach to open API services means we are able to create custom connections with ease. Whilst the directory is pretty huge, there are still gaps, but we're able to easily send custom data using services like Google Pubsub or Amazon SQS
Some of the holes in the integration directory are pretty big. In particular, not having a native connection to Salesforce Service cloud. Additionally, there is no real way to explore what is being sent to your connected platforms in platform, meaning that anything that goes wrong with your connections can end up being a support request
Collecting identity and user activity across multiple brands. Delivering a standard schema for product and user data which we're able to utilise in analytics. Delivering ecommerce and offline sales data for CAPI projects. Spearheading our move to server side event forwarding
Our team have found mParticle very easy to use and the customer success and professional services team great and very helpful
There is nothing in particular that we dislike
Provides us with a clear understanding and data across our users
The group tries to understand and adapt a solution that satisfies the client's need
The language barrier in specific meetings has been a bit complicated, but there has always been someone who supports us on behalf of the mparticle team
mParticle is receiving the interaction events with the application and this helps us to manage the information
mParticle's makes data management and data delivery seamless. Their customer support and technical architecture team are first class as well.
For customers without event catalogs setup initially, it's a burden to retroactively fill that information.
mParticle's SDK reduces the development work of sending key data to third parties so we can move faster on developing impactful features.
Technical support team members are always friendly and quick to help us solve the issues we encountered while building mParticle. I am always grateful for this.
I think it lacks the ability to analyze data compared to firebase analytics. It would be nice to have data analytics added to the mParticle website.
mParticle may have more features than you might think. I suggest designing after considering the various functions of mParticle.
We didn't want to collect events redundantly from mParticle SDK as we are already collecting firebase logs on iOS and AOS.
Data duplication could be avoided because mParticle can ingest data in a server-to-server manner using API calls.
An extensive list of supported Data Sources and Services. Great support to get started and very knowledgeable when figuring out new use cases.
Nothing so far. We've been able to realize all our usecases.
Single source of truth for our data. It allows us to verify and act on any inconsistent reporting data.
mParticle has so many out-of-the-box integrations, and they make it easy for our teams to centralize and act on data from many parts of the organization. The support team has been proactive, helpful, and knowledgeable from day one - and we are happy with mParticle having a home in our tech stack.
We've been thoroughly satisfied with the mParticle platform and the mParticle team.
We've automated the collection and transmission of data. We've learned more about our customers, helping us deliver more of what they want. We've eliminated manual tasks and have empowered our teams to accomplish more with less time and effort.

The mParticle team has been an incredible asset for us, always available to quickly address questions or issues we have. Additionally, they have really leaned into being a thought partner for us, where we push eachtoher to be better. They highlight any opporunities they see for us to either implement something in a better way or to use net new solutions they start offering. Vice versa, whenever there is a solution or product not available in mParticle that we want, they are transparent and work with their internal team to proritize and build a path forward for us. However, the ease of integrations and large library of connectors make that few and far between
The biggets hiccup we have is brand awareness / technical experience with mParticle. It is an awesome tool for us, but for most of our assocaites this is the first time they are working with it. While the learning curve is small, there is a bit more handholding neede to get up and running
