"outdated but functional "
What do you like best about Mortgage Builder?

Honestly? not much.. It seems like it has been stagnant the last 5 years and hasn't done much to stay relevant.

What do you dislike about Mortgage Builder?

MB does not look like a 1003 so if you are expecting that you will find this isn't user friendly. It also glitches a lot and I am constantly being kicked out of it. There are several spots where you select an option (such as number of units) and they system will crash; not every time but enough that it affects your workflow. Also we cannot sync it with any of our other systems.

Recommendations to others considering Mortgage Builder:

If it could integrate with other systems we use that would help. We use sales force and excel quite a bit and we can't push any info into MB, although we can run reports through excel which is nice.

What problems is Mortgage Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work in mortgages and this is our platform for loans. It is used out of necessity.

"Functional, but not User Friendly"
What do you like best about Mortgage Builder?

The ability to use the toggles on the left side of the screen in order to select the action. I can order an appraisal within the Appraisal Order Form screen, exit, and then go to the Loan Status screen.

What do you dislike about Mortgage Builder?

The electronic-signing room. Very impractical to navigate as the issuer of electronic documents to clients. Clients have a hard time registering for the first time in the Signing Room. Some clients even have difficulty signing as the borrower, when they become an invitee.

Recommendations to others considering Mortgage Builder:

Please enhance the customer experience with electronically signing documents in the Signing Room. Please also have a support team that is consistent with troubleshooting username and password resets.

What problems is Mortgage Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a mortgage bank, we leverage Mortgage Builder to perform administrative, compliance and signing requirements for customer buying residential homes. The benefits realized include: a) the ability to track loan progress throughout the many departments we have and b) retrieving signing electronic documents for review purposes.
