I'm glad I have given Moonfruit the benefit of the doubt, otherwise I would have lost my vital Google SEO ranking. The fix does work, you have to follow the instructions exactly and ensure your old flash is uninstalled. Website looks nice, easy to update.

@ Archie Bold and anyone else who finds they get taken to the "Flash end of life" page. That happened to me until I uninstalled the previous Flash application before downloading the fix. Trustpilot doesn't allow links, so just search for How to Uninstall Flash. Once I'd uninstalled the previous application, I found that I could correctly download and open the new Flash fix which came out last week and my websites work absolutely fine, exactly as they did before, including the metatags. I hope this helps. Meanwhile I have submitted to Trustpilot a screenshot of my Moonfruit billing page, which goes back years, to disprove Paul UK's allegation that I am fake reviewer.

Like everyone else recently, I've been frustrated that the Flash fix wasn't brought out by the due date, but now that I've downloaded the fix and installed it, I'm very very pleased. I wasn't expecting the fix to be a Flash look-a-like, and I thought I would have to make adjustments (and go through yet another digital learning curve, oh joy) - but no, the edit program looks exactly the same as it did before, and it doesn't look as if I'll have to make any adjustments. Huge relief! Well done Moonfruit - last week I would have only given you one star because I was losing confidence that you would ever bring out a fix, but now I'm so relieved I'll give you 5!

Okay, so there's been another tiresome glitch in the system or at least in my part of the system but yet again the 'prof boffs' at Moonfruit have managed to sort me out for which I'm grateful. No, Moonfruit isn't perfect or even near it, but in my experience they've always proved most helpful when things go wrong. I still reckon they're one of the better website providers.

I had problems with the edit new fix tried a few times and it did not workHowever after speaking to a friend who said make sure all your old flash is deleted then try Guess what it edits and works fine after deleting the oldflash then installing from scratch

I have to disagree with so many of the negative comments presented here. I've been with Moonfruit many years and have always found them pretty helpful.Okay, so there has been a bit of a cock-up over the flash player fix, I like many others, have been totally frustrated at the time it has taken. I was even more frustrated when I couldn't get the damn thing to work despite having followed instructions. However, when I dropped them an E-mail detailing my concerns, they swiftly contacted one of their 'prof boffs' who came on line and sorted it out for me, no problem. I was very impressed...so thank you Moonfruit.

Have used this website builder for many years now. Whilst it is basic, it is not complicated to use, and produces quite good websites. Great product for the price.

That is really helpful, Andrew, thank you very much for posting that. On one of my sites, one of the pages and some of the images didn’t migrate at all, so I very much agree with downloading the assets from the existing sites as you’ve suggested. Most of my sites have now been migrated but not all. It’s a bit nerve-wracking waiting for the others, but I’m sure I’ll get them eventually, and hopefully in good time before the 7th as they do need to be worked on before they can be made live. The quickest help I’ve found is Google - it usually brings up the right Wix support page, plus other links which also offer solutions. It’s a pity there isn’t a community support forum either for Moonfruit or Wix, as far as I know. I would recommend to anyone who hasn't yet worked in Wix to open a different (free) account and build a sample page in order to get used to how the platform works as it's very different to Moonfruit's.

I've been told my sites are going to be migrated to Wix next week. I'm relieved that my existing web sites will remain intact whilst the migration is happening, and that the Wix sites will only be made "live" when I'm happy with them. I'm also relieved that I'll still be able to make any urgent edits to my existing sites while the migration is taking place, even if I have to re-do the changes on the Wix platform after migration. I've given 3 stars because I'm hopeful that the migration will go smoothly, but I'm hedging my bets in case it doesn't!

Help. I have been reading the latest reviews and given I cannot now edit my site, i'm wondering how to move and what the options out there are. I've been with Moonfruit since 2008 and I could really do without the grief. Any thoughts or recommendations out there?...
