Milanote is one of the cleanest, most user-friendly project and content management systems I've had the pleasure of using to create and manage social media calendars.
Some of its functionality is lacking (specifically the inability to track edit history, which leads to clients being left off of boards due to lack of trust), and on the mobile app there are some content restrictions which makes native TikTok and Instagram posting inefficient.
- Needing a collaborative space to store social media content, arrange it in a logical fashion, create and edit copy, and manage an approval and posting workflow.
Milanote is an amazing tool to organize and scale up the clarity of ideas and make sense of them as they grow.
Milanote's flexible drag-and-drop interface lets you arrange things in whatever way makes sense for your project.
The interface is intuitive, easy to navigate, and I find everything I need quickly. Can't wait to see what Milanote holds next!
Milanote is just fantastic. There are many examples of creative projects, but I would argue that it is amazing for mind mapping business operations, strategy, and change.
Milanote scales startups and could offer credit to all verified startups around the world. This program could be geared toward new startups.
Milanote is a visual extension of strategic planning and organizational narratives.
Great for organizing and scaling up the clarity of ideas and making sense of them as they grow.
Drag-and-drop interface lets me arrange things in whatever makes sense for my projects.
The interface is intuitive, and I find everything I need quickly.
I like how simple it is to collect thoughts and inspiration and then share it with the team for presentations and meetings.
I wish that there was more opportunity for customizing type. The styling is very limited. I would also like the ability to theme board backgrounds and the UI per board.
Moodboards, brainstorming sessions, and inspirations collection.
I like the ability to manage projects while also making your progress aesthetically pleasing. It allows you to brainstorm and be creative.
The free version is very limited. Milanote should increase the number of boards and content you are allowed before having to upgrade to the paid version.
I am collaborating with my marketing team to create campaigns while also managing progress on those campaigns.
I love being able to add pictures and links. It's great for everything I need to organize and perfect for collaboration. I also love that it's web based so I don't have to take up room on my computer
I'd love to be able to set up notifications. Other than that, I have no complaints. I just wish more people knew about it since it's such a fantastic way to organize everything.
This is great for managing my daily to-do list and was really helpful when I managed work from my personal life, different accounts for my business and moving.
It's also a great way to manage gifting so it's perfect for the holidays.
Adorable and aesthetic platform, you can create various boards and organized ideas, very helpful for team projects
Nothing ! the app is straightforward to use and pleasing.
Organize projects and work with team members at the same time
Milanote is an incredibly robust and competent app, endowed with all the necessary tools to register and communicate ideas on a moodboard. The simple way you just drag elements onto the canvas and modify their properties is amazing.
Support for various types of media, which can also be dragged with a few clicks, makes the experience much more complete.
The option to create multiple boards within a single account and then share them gives me great flexibility.
I have nothing to complain about this app (so far). I can only think of the many good points and wonder why I didn't discover this tool before.
I use it to make mood boards in team brainstorming sessions. We also use it to detail points and specific project details, such as annotations and signs on top of images.
You can start with a blank screen or a template but this combines creativity, mind mapping, and organization in one tool.
The mobile app needs a lot of work. It does not function nearly as well as the desktop. I would like more color usage options.
This was a game-changer for us. We are a creative company and had issues finding linear software programs that fit a non-linear way of thinking. We can have multiple users in the program LIVE, all making changes at the same time. It is amazing.
We use Milanote for storyboarding, story structure, casting, wardrobe, brainstorming, organizing locations and shots/visuals, but also to keep our tasks in line.
This application is very useful to keep a certain control of annotation is the inspirations that it gives us every day at work and have a digital compilation of it, where we can even send an invitation to other people to give their opinion or collaborate on our boards with the sketch that let's have. It also allows us to export the content as well as Word or PDF. The best thing is that I can use it from any device so if any inspiration appears at a given moment we can easily write or draw it at that moment.
The only disadvantage that for now I see it is that it is only available in English and sometimes I send contributions to colleagues who speak another language for their opinions or help me in my sketches but this is not a great barrier because the commands and characteristics are basic that Any foreigner with a very basic command of English can handle it.
I recommend it for those people and professionals who like to have their primary ideas or their sketches organized digitally
In many of the engineering planning processes we always need sketches or inspirations that help us to improve the operational processes of preventive maintenance and on many occasions we want to have new ideas for new tools, equipment and components that help us to better carry out these chores. Obviously the designs must be made in a plane, but the main ideas or inspirations is always good to have sketches or ideas that later lead you to carry out these projects.

I love the appearance - it makes it feel like I'm bullet journaling and I love that the boards can go as long/wide as you need them to.
I wish there were a few more tools of things to drag onto the board. I also wish the search tool worked better (clunky to use). And I wish the columns made sense when viewed on mobile, but the order moves around. I only use it on desktop now.
Planning websites for clients, gathering content, keeping my own projects on track, brainstorming new brand mood boards, etc.
