Microsoft Stream is a powerful tool that enables seamless video sharing and viewing, enhancing internal communication and knowledge sharing within organizations. It's user-friendly interfaces and advanced features, such as intelligent search and transcript generation, make it valuable for managing and accessing video content. With robust security measures, organizations can trust Microsoft Stream to protect their sensitive video data.
Microsoft Stream's video playback quality can be inconsistent and prone to buffering issues, hindering the viewing experience.
Having used Microsoft Stream for over three years, I have found it a reliable platform for sharing and managing video content within our organization. Its integration with other Microsoft tools and secure sharing options have facilitated effective communication and collaboration. However, occasional delays in video processing and limited customization options have been minor drawbacks in an otherwise satisfactory experience.
Office 365 group workspace
Add videos in teams
Teams called saved and can get back anytime
Videos and calls can only be shared internally
Nothing
It is a very helpful app for students and teacher as teachers can make groups according to class and upload the recorded session so that students can watch and learn, it is very helpful especially during this pandemic.
It has removed the feature to directly upload a video of Microsoft teams, now you have to upload video separately on stream. It does not work well there is lot of bugs in it due to which it hangs a lot.
Everything
- Communication ways
- useful
- easy to use
nothing
all good till now with me and my team
easy to host any video or share it with each other and to retain it for a specific period
The ease of use of Stream, categorization of content into channels, and tying those channels to AD-based user groups or users, and the transcription services.
Sharing with external users is disabled.
I upload E-Learning videos to Stream for internal review prior to publication in our LMS, and also use it to quickly find videos based on search due to its excellent transcription service.
It is really easy to find and watch your recorded meetings. It's all connected to your email address.
It can be a challenge to share a meeting recording with someone who wasn't invited to the meeting originally.
So many! If I have to miss a meeting, I can watch it later. If I need to capture notes during a meeting, I can do so with pauses later. So cool!
I like that it enables you to upload your videos, and later on, you can choose to share them with everyone or with specific people within your organization. I also like the audio transcription feature, which makes searching for content more manageable.
There is nothing that I like about this application.
If you need a tool to manage all your corporate videos for sharing and collaboration, then Microsoft Stream is best for you.
Being able to share video tutorials, training, information drives, meeting recordings, etc... is being handled securely and effectively by Microsoft Stream. Having central storage of all corporate video materials makes them organized and always available when needed.
I like the video quality and option the provided
While I sharing the data sometimes it takes time
live stream with enumber of people in one line
being able to share recordings from teams meetings
the size of files when you download them, it would be useful if these could be compressed somehow
Sharing recorded meetings with those who couldn't attend the meeting.

I can share many business related vidoes to my team members to whom I am working with.
There is only one dislike about I am unable to share video link to whom who are out of the organization.
As I am working with my team It helps me to share one video to entire team members by just hosting a video on stream.
